They have poor service. Only a 2 lifts a working and when you need assistance with the lift of goods they take more than a hour. They don't even worth the 1 star rating. This place is the pits. What's the use of giving me the email address, I sent and email to 3 people even forwarded it to remind them and no one replied. I had to physically go to the reception.
Good Value for Money, but just a few things I can point out.... some of the Stoves in the kitchen Need either an Upgrade or to be fixed Secondly Yall need a Later model Bio Metric Entry system coz the one yall have is a serious inconvenience...you have to try it a few times before it lets u in frustrating...The Lifts I can obviously see that it cannot be a fast process to have them replaced so i can bare with the 3 that are working either than all this....The place is very efficient and economical
Please please change to face identification security system this fingerprint system is so outdated you guys are the biggest accomodation in the city but you'll are just failing to keep up and move with the trend lets leave the cold water, the new lifts storey you've been preaching for over 4 years now escalators that cant work for 3 days atleast, one must be jammed or both jammed problem. Change the fingerprints system because our visitors never want to visit us again because of that system you can change all your fingers and still never get in or out meanwhile you are late and its so frustrating and embarrassing. Inconvenient service from the staff always moody.. Only 2 old lifts working for the entire city life Towers community.. new lifts song has been said over 4 years but rent keep on increasing no renovation just a trash accommodation
Not safe at all. We are at risk everyday. The lifts are a huge problem. Only 3 working lifts in a building that 27 floors and each floor has more than 60 rooms. Most rooms are shared by families and friends. The lifts are old and often stuck with people inside for hours. When they move they make cracking sounds as if it going break. I have watched someone almost lose his arm, the door of lift closed on his hand and kept pressing. Luckily he was able to pull his hand out. Instead of fix the lift they keep adding papers saying only 15 people per lift in order to avoid stucking. Which is not true at all I was once in the lift with 4 other people and it started acting up. With only 5 people inside. What is more disturbing to me is i don't why the steps are locked. Because i could be using the steps. In case of emergencies i am sure we will all die here. At least open the steps me and some other people who prefer it will take the steps instead of being forced to take your dangerous lifts. During the rush hour of people coming back from work. You end up having to wait more than 30 minutes in the lobby waiting for the lifts and more people keep adding up by the second. It gets supper hot. I am sure it more than 50 people who are there waiting. The bathrooms just remind you every single day that you're poor. Water pressure is low. You can evenly mix the water. It either hot or cold. If you live in the other corner of building you have to walk about 3 minutes to the bathroom. This is a bad place to live. The staff is moody. You can't even to talk to them. They keep saying "angikuzwa" while she leaning backwards on the chair and i wonder why does she move her head forward to hear what i am saying. the wifi is just a decoration.
My stay at City life has been thee best experience. Their monthly rental is very affordable for the services that they offer which is uncapped Wi-Fi and free dstv channels. The environment is very clean. City Life staff offer good quality service.
Their staff open our room without us being there or notifying us that they will be searching our room. They took our things and won't replace them. The water is cold, we experienced a problem with bed bugs, mice, not to mention the cockroaches. The toilets and thr bathrooms are constantly dirty. It's a mess.
If you looking for a place that respects its tenants this is not it, they came to my apartment removed tiles off the kitchen and left my apartment dirty I asked them more than twice to clean they didn't do that at all imagine coming back from work you are tired and you still have to do someone else's job. And the staff at the reception is not useful they will tell you to write an email, imagine you want assistance and you told to write a email? What a joke!
I had just moved in, a group of staff knocked on my door after 9pm, without a notice, searched my room and took my new kettle stating its not allowed. No one mentioned or suggested I must make a plan for my appliances before moving in...Never got it back.
