Attended a weekend-long wedding here. It is really beautiful between nature and the grounds are well maintained. Friendly staff and good food, drink, and coffee. Had a blast here. It’s also very close to Pretoria and Joburg and the roads here are easy to follow.
Just attended a wedding here. The management and staff were totally awesome. Staff were incredibly friendly and superbly attentive. Rooms are comfortable and spacious enough with all the basics required. Beautiful gardens and peaceful setting. Highly recommended
We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, on arrival, we were informed that we did not have a reservation for that evening, whilst we were reserved for that night and the next. After a while, the receptionist realised that they were on the wrong. We then received a platter on the house. On my wife's birthday, she was treated with a song at breakfast as well as a gift delivered to our room. Neat and well maintained gardens and facilities. Rooms: Neat room with enclosed outside shower with tropical plants. Walkability: Paved walkways around the dam and well maintained gardens. Food & drinks: Food was good and neatly presented. May not take own food and drinks along.
Did my daughter's wedding food tasting on 14 Feb 2023. So difficult to decide!!! The selection and choice of meals were of the best ever tasted! Thank you for your hospitality, can not wait for the wedding!Service: 5/5
I recently had my wedding at Cradle Valley and was extremely happy with the service I received from the get go. We attended an open day which was very informative. Once we chose Cradle Valley we were not disappointed. Our personal Cradle Valley wedding coordinator, Lauren, was available at all times and was a massive help in planning the entire wedding, from DJ recommendations and booking rooms to organizing tastings with the caterers. We could not have done this without her. The venue is absolutely stunning and makes for beautiful pictures. We had +-96 guests but the venue can accommodate more guests. The rooms were great and the newly weds suite was beautiful. The bar is very reasonably priced so guests can fully enjoy themselves. We had a Sunday wedding and once the reception hall closed, the staff lit the fire at the boma area and allowed us to play our own music and we, along with our guests, celebrated into the morning hours. As the bride and groom we also had dedicated people looking after us on the day and they were absolute stars. All the staff were. Go have a look, you wont be disappointed. On a separate but relevant note: Some of our guests needed to Uber home and they got an Uber without a problem.
It is a stunning venu, the staff are all so friendly and helpful. The rooms are great, the views are awesome and the food was great. Thank you guys what a great experience. Rooms: Beautiful rooms, comfy beds and i love the shower. Very clean and tidy Food & drinks: Breakfast, Lunch and Harvest table was fantastic. Noteworthy details: I think a photo shoot there would just be stunning with all the nature and creative decor.
Attended a wedding at this venue. Rooms are great, needs minor maintenance with unstable bathroom furniture. Very clean. Excellent service from the Staff and very friendly and helpful. Great location close to many different amenities. Lot's to do. Breakfast is plentiful and excellent quality and nice portions. Safety: We felt very safe. Security systems are in place.
Beautiful venue reception area, chapel, dining areand not far from Jhb suburbs. Was there for a wedding so didn't experience the rooms and service, but would definitely recommend this for future events.Location: 5/5
Stayed for one night in this beautiful, comfortable boutique guest house. Loved the outside shower and bed was so comfortable. Wonderful service by all staff! And the breakfast was absolutely amazing.Rooms: 5/5
