Description

Set on 24ha of beautifully landscaped indigenous gardens with stunning seaviews, Crocworld has undergone a massive transformation.

New enclosures have gone in, infrastructure has been revamped and exhibits have been increased at our wheelchair-friendly venue.

The bird section has been expanded with a host of new species and the park now has 11 of the 12 deadly dozen venomous snakes in South Africa.

A children’s playground has been installed with equipment that also caters for disabled children. It is the perfect venue for parties and volunteers are on duty during holiday seasons to keep an eye on the children. There is even a baby’s change room.

The onsite restaurant, Le Rendez-Vous, has been modernised and is run by French chef Julien Lepront.

We are open seven days a week:
Out of Season: 8am – 4:30pm
During Holidays: 8am – 5pm
The only day you won’t be able to visit us is Christmas Day.

Entrance Fees as of 1 April 2017:
Adults: R75 per person
Children: R45 per person (Between the ages of 4-12 qualify as a child) Children under 4 are free
Pensioners Rate: R55 per person
School Tours: R35 per child
Tour Groups: R60 per person (groups of 20 individuals or more)
Annual Family Membership: R650 (2 adults and 2 children)

Crocodile feeding sessions take place daily at 11:00am and again at 15:00pm, except Mondays.
There are also snake demonstrations on the weekends. (ring 039-976 1103 for timings).

What an adventure. The kids and I really had a great time. I've been there before as a kid and it was really nice to see old Henry  again . The place is well kept and you can literally spent the whole day there without getting bored. The trees, the birds singing and all the crocodiles all make the place so serene. Really loved and enjoyed the experience

This was a really great experience. The actual grounds are beautifully maintained and lovely to walk around. There are plenty places that you can sit and enjoy watching the animals or relax and unwind. Staff are very helpful and well trained to educate you about the various reptiles and it was so cool to hold and interact with a baby croc. The petting zoo is great for kids and there are so many other amazing animals to see as well. Definitely worth recommending!

Been here several years ago and not much has changed. I would have rated this a five except for the muddy entrance into the facility. Can do with some upgrades. Some areas were under renovation so we couldn't walk over the wooden bridge. Still a pleasant experience seeing all the crocodiles. They look so much smaller than they look on TV.

It’s always a bit bitter sweet to see animals in captivity, but I must say every animal’s habitat was kept in great condition.  It was an awesome experience to see so many different reptiles and birds. Crocworld offers great walkways with stunning views along the way

We didn't expect the very informative display of the snakes and it was a experience touching the different species. The crocodile feeding was great to see. Children and adults all enjoyed the  experience.

If you want to see lots of , this is the place. They have feeding sessions where you can watch them being fed. They also have a bird section where you view different  as well as snakes. We had a group visit, it was very educational. We had time feeding crocodiles and also having touch the little one lol . Their restaurant also serve good food, I tasted  crocodile  meat for the first in my life here.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo

Absolutely fantastic.  Exciting experience and kept you wanting more. Restaurant has the most delicious meals and staff were friendly and only to keen to talk and explain and and.  My children loved it and really enjoyed watching the crocs being fed.

Well managed place. It feels like a nice park to just relax for a while. Lots of crocs, birds, some farm animals and a jungle gym/playground. The cafe is reasonably priced, we enjoyed our sandwiches and they have a wonderful chilli sauce also available for sale. The grounds were a little smaller than expected so we managed to tour the place pretty quickly. And the pricing is slightly higher than similar activities equidistant to us, so unfortunately it's not worth a second visit for us.

Refreshing and well designed center. Various animals to see and a lovely play area for kids. Restaurant has an amazing sea view. Great for family day out
