This park is great, we've camped here many December's. Everything is clean old ablutions, some restored somewhat. My Main issue is the increasing number of drunks coming over from the main beach loitering and littering their empty bottles and litter all over the beach in front of the camp sites, with total disregard to campers and responsible beach visitors . The gaurd really tried his best to prevent this, but you need more guards to manage the spill over of these people from the main beach during peak season. Maybe this is not your responsibility but it effects your camping establishment negatively.
This is an absolutely great caravan park. Clean absolution. Friendly staff. My only great concern is the cats in the park. They go around urinating on your tents, groundsheets, as a matter everything that is standing on the ground. So the rest of your holiday you are stuck with the horrible urine smell. An then you have to go home and battle to get that smell out of everything
Beautiful campsites, well maintained facilities. Ablutions were so clean. Ideally situated in close proximity to the beach. Playground: Safe and well maintained Restrooms: Clean and hygienic
People who are working there are friendly and security guard a work 24 hours came see for yourself
This is a comment on the resturant in the camp. It is right next to the beach, great views and relaxed atmosphere. You are not going to get a gourmet meal but the food is fine. The location and food make it well worth a visit if you are in the area. To get access you drive into the camp. The resturant is a little way in on the left.
Beautiful town on the south coast. Awesome restaurants and pubs. Defensively worth the stop over.
We were there for 4 days over a weekend towards the end of June, which just so happened to be one of the coldest few weeks in recent history, if not of all time. So there was a horrible cold wind blowing and it was too cold to be enjoyable, but that was not the parks fault. Ablution clean and tidy, piping hot water on call 24/7, friendly and helpful staff, great value food at the coffee shop with an awsome breakfast. We camped right next to the beach and it was truly wonderful to be so close to the waves. It's just been a bitterly cold winter and we thought we could escape the highveld cold by having a quick weekend in Scottburgh, to no avail, but it remains a top caravan destination.
Great feels there. I grew up caravaning and it's still exactly the same. Nostalgia overload. Clean, safe and great for the kids
Such a peaceful, well organised camp site thankfully with a borehole during these times. Loved being there and enjoyed going to Scotties coffee shop and walking on the beach. Wonderful to be right next to the sea!
Brilliant caravan park! It was clean, quiet and friendly . The on-site restaurant was also very accommodation ‍. Can’t wait for our next visit!
