Description

Crossways Country Kitchen is a restaurant in the Eastern Cape that is focused on tasty, fresh food and ensuring all patrons an enjoyable time.

All food and condiments are home made and all our herbs and most of our veggies are picked right outside in our organic garden.

There is also a little shop selling edible goodies & take-aways which caters for those on the go.

We support local businesses and strive to be as green as possible. Everything in the restaurant is either recycled, re-used or second hand and most kitchen scraps go back into our garden either through composting or to the chickens.

We are situated on a beautiful farm with wide open spaces where we live close to nature. Children can be left to play safely and well behaved pets are welcome!

Excellent, relaxed, open Country atmosphere. Lots of space for children or your dog. Cutest leather shoe keyrings. The Omelette & poach eggs were both excellent taste and value. We bought freshly baked bread to take home & fresh freezed juice

Pet friendly and rustic. The food is expensive for the quality and taste. The service was excellent. Playground area available for children but needs some attention. Pet menu would be an added advantage.

I looove this place. Best breakfast I've had at a restaurant. This is a relatively new establishment as far as I know.  It's like a big farm village and I love it! It's a modernized country vibe.. love it.  They are turning this place into an 'off-the-grid' estate which I think is super cool. They have a model of the whole 'estate' in the middel of the office next to the dining area and is free to view by the guests. My favorite feature is the airfield/airstrip, can't wait to be one of the 1st pilots to land there!  Everything deserved a 6-Star rating! Food was delicious. Staff was sooo friendly, yet very experienced and professional. Atmosphere was so calm and relaxing. Very tranquil.  I can not wait to visit again soon! I will refer everyone I know.

Terrible on all fronts!!  Very pricey for poor portion size , poor service, plain menu, long wait for service as well as for food to arrive. We had to go pay our bill at the cashier after it was made clear we wanted the bill and pay for it.  Will not recommend to any of our family or friends not even enemies.  Managers need a serious wake-up call. Your venue has potential but everything you have on offer sucks.  I would have send an email personally to address the problem rather than post it, but guess what? That was not even an option. No "contact us" option. So here you have it. If there was an option to give you less than a star I would have, but then again at least you have bathroom facilities.

The Breakfast Wrap & Boer Breakfast were delicious - quality ingredients & perfectly cooked with lovely toasted home made bread. The Flat White coffee was excellent too! Staff were friendly and attentive. We're fans!

Great location and very well looked after but the service and food was very disappointing. We understood that they were under staffed but considering that it wasn’t too busy and our waitress had no urgency, we found it strange to use that excuse when we brought this up with our waitress. We waited ages for our food even though it was only  2 simple toasted sandwiches, one could have been called a sandwich as it was hardly even toasted and the chips were not great either. Very disappointing.

Cute little place with fast service, But I was extremely disappointed in the food. My partner and I ordered the steak strip burger and got cold steak and chips, my friend ordered the chicken schnitzel and got cold veggies. Definitely will not be going to eat there again.

New owners micro managing staff, hovering, shouting instructions.  The staff working there is the same staff from previous years friendly, efficient, building relationships, etc. But new owners just placed a damper on every thing and created a bad atmosphere......pity

Loved the MTB route we did and afterwards had the best milkshakes ever. Loved the setting and the waiters was very friendly.
