Staff is friendly but service is a bit too average. The restaurant is clean and the menu is easy to understand. Vegetarian options are available here. There are outside seatings by the passageway which gives view to the food court on ground floor with the big screen television.
Average quiche with a terrible salad of only lettuce, radishes, chickpeas and spring onion. Very disappointing. Not recommended.
Not Melissa's anymore premivera. Very small portions for big bucks. That tiny piece of cheese cake was R60, both was R107. I will never go back.
Melissa's was great, enjoyed eating there at least once a week. When Primivera took over, they started off o k but stopped going there,very disappointed, changing chefs all the time,from bad to worse. New owners I think Mr Pink or something, from December to January they changed their chicken ciabatta samie from yummy to not eating it at all.
It's already been a very long time since this restaurant was called Melissa's. The failure to update the information is no doubt more evidence of how poorly this place is run these days. I have had bad experiences here before, but after a third I am done with it. Now called Prima Vera.... Nothing about it is "prima". Dirty crockery and watered down drinks. How do you f@#k up a single round of drinks. At Prima Vera you will find out. I have written to management twice before on the till slip. And signed my name! This time the manager couldn't even bother to come to the table and apologize. Sometimes an establishment deserves to close its doors. It's time for Prima Vera to make way for someone else that can better serve its customers.
You have to try their hot chocolate it is the best in town and a chocaholic's dream. They also have a selection of cakes and a store where you can buy craft foods and things however they are quite pricey but some of the things are likely not found anywhere else in Port Elizabeth.
Haas a great time at Melissas . The staff were very friendly and service was speedy . The atmosphere was inviting and cool . It had a cool vibe and attracted a cool crowd
