Some of the best cakes I’ve had were from here on many different occasions. I even flew takeout from here. Really good and consistent.

We were lucky enough to find one of the legendary Velvet Cake Company's celebratory cakes left in their Canal Walk store when we visited them late in the afternoon over the weekend. It was delicious and tasted even better than it looked if that's even possible. The cake is like a cross between homemade and something you would drool over in celebrity baker recipe book. A special shout out to the staff who didn't mind my 1.5 year old granddaughter dropping cupcake crumbs on the floor. Thank you VCC!

I need to say that your service is incredible! I have been ordering from you for a few years now and have always been thrilled, but today you really knocked it out of the park for me. I made a mistake when placing my order and needed a different flavour icing, which I realised on Friday afternoon after the close of business. I emailed and phoned and just hoped I could get a message through in time. Someone emailed me at 7am on a Saturday and then when I called these amazing humans said they'd seen my mail and there was a spare cake un-iced yet that they made in the correct flavour for me. I could have kissed you guys! Really, this is customer service above and beyond for a mistake that was completely my own! Thank you!

For my lockdown birthday party, I decided to go all out and buy the cake of 12 year old me’s dreams. It was delivered just in time, by the nicest gentleman who made sure my cake was safely stowed away in his cake-Mobile! I ordered a mini pink velvet cake with a customized topping. Thoroughly enjoyed it, bar the thick layer of buttercream covering the cake - which made it sickly sweet. Apart from the 5kg of buttercream smeared on it, Velvet Cake Co can be trusted for high quality, unusually rich fare.

....Yet another delightful delicious treats shop to stop at on the way out and grab a take-out box on the go filled with insidious-lii delicious yummii goodies! The velvet cup-cakes with the cream-ii top & centers are always a favorite! This shop is superb-lii located....

The availability for cakes is a bit shocking, but I can understand that it comes from a different source. However the milktart cupcake I had was old and sour! Sick!

I just love that this company offers a delivery service with even more great stuff like offering a 10% discount and free delivery within a certain radius! You guys are amazzzzing! Thank you for making shopping with you guys and making someone's day special so effortless. Delivery is on point and the cupcakes are even more great!

We had ordered a cake from a different company which broke the afternoon before our daughters birthday party. We therefore ordered from velvet cake company with only a few hours notice. They were so professional, delivered to us at our venue and completely flexible to changing the delivery venue as our schedule changed. The service was extremely friendly and dependable. Most importantly, the cake was also divine. Thanks to velvet cake company our daughter had a beautiful party. It could have been a disaster had they not been able to deliver a new cake on such short notice.

We LOVE red velvet and the velvet cake co is probably the best we've ever had. We will be back!

Excellent cakes and top class service. Had my delivery details and date change at the last minute and Claudette from the Canal Walk branch was eager to accommodate. Really love this bakery.
