Let me just start by saying that I love a café with books as part of their decor. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was rather packed but luckily they still had a few tables open. Their service was great and the staff friendly. We ordered lattes made from a really nice bean a teensy bit strong for my liking but I think they put in a double shot of espresso. So if you love a strong cup of coffee, you'll definitely enjoy it more. We then had the weekend breakfast special which was a bagel with cream cheese, shrooms and a perfectly poached egg--extremely delicious. We also tried the dirty eggs and boi oh boi was that yummy! It was scrambled eggs, Colby cheddar, chives, caremalised onions, Sriracha mayo on their sweet homemade milk bun--utterly delicious! Location is also great; they are situated on a street with lots of restaurants and just a short walk from the beach and the stadium. Also give Giovanni's a visit for some yummy international goods when you are in the area.

Loved the cafe. small place to sit outside but inside you can see more space. Its always full specially during breakfast time. I visited twice here and both time had to wait a bit to find a place. Staff is very friendly and you can go with their recommendations according to your choice.

Great place for morning breakfast. Highly recommend the Spanish poached eggs with mushrooms as an add on. The hot chocolate is wonderful as well if you prefer something less sweet for your mornings.

Good vibes for adults without kids to come pastries are good just too sweet for me not a fan of sweet stuff coffee also nice...

Jason Bakery is a lovely little coffee shop and bakery with a classic Cape Town feeling. They have great service and a multitude of amazing pastries. Make sure you go early as it can get very busy since they are extremely popular. Go and enjoy something sweet for takeaway or sit in.

Enjoyed our breakfast here. Hipster spot. Had the Dirty Eggs which was delicious. Coffee and food took slightly long to arrive but overall the food and service were great.
