First of all, what great coffee! Always something interesting and delicious. Secondly, it's really hard to find a peaceful spot in this busy city. This café achieves a very rare balance of quality and tranquility.
Cappuccino: I give it a 5/5. It hits you in the soul. I had a panini, which was delicious. And I ended with a Beetroot Latte. Yes folks. It was pink and delightful. The decor belongs in a magazine and the staff is very friendly. Will visit again!

Lovely little coffee shop in the heart of Bedfordview. Very friendly staff who know their way around their coffee. It's the perfect place for grabbing a cappuccino to go or staying in and enjoy a proper Chemex. Would highly recommend. They also have coffee tasting sessions every now and again which is great. They walk you through the whole process and then let you sample a whole lot of coffees. Really enjoyed it when I did it.

Had a lovely Saturday breakfast at Dear Maria. My cappuccino was delicious and I'm super fussy when it comes to coffee and the pastries my boyfriend and shared were incredible, they complemented my coffee perfectly. The owner and staff where incredibly attentive and happy to chat to us about various offerings on the menu. All in all, a lovely experience. We will definitely be back!
OMG!! A hidden local gem with freaking great coffee and BAGELS! Warm, toasted bagels!! Great toppings to choose from, super chilled vibes & music while you work/ eat and so many coffee bean choices that it requires a repeat visit.
This review is based on a single experience. You need to order at the counter and they bring the food to you which is fine, but if you're outside and you're not aware of it.... Menu is very limited and no vegetarian option without having to say hold the meat. Service for coffee alone to arrive took very long. Not sure of it's lack of staff but they weren't particularly busy. Didn't quite live up to the hype for me.
