Experienced the best service. Everyone was helpful and welcoming, from the security who assisted me, all the way to the cashier which is rare when it comes Government Service Institutions. The standard of that place is top notch. There is order which offers great service delivery. You need to also book before going to make things easy for you too.

The days of good service here is long gone, its as slow as you can expect and more! Appointments is of no use, security think they do you a favour and rude as every other government institution i have visited before and manager is no help either, they under the impression they doing a great job

I booked online for a new passport and was one of the first people in and out. It took under 2 hours to get everything sorted, which is extremely quick for home affairs. The supervisor is also very helpful, guiding me through the process whenever i asked. NB. You must book online before you arrive otherwise it will take super long to get your stuff done

Please change your times on google. I was waiting in the que for collections from 11:00 and i was right infront of the entrance and they didn't take me in because apparently it closes at 15:30. As a matric , I need my smart card to write exams and i was told it doesnt matter when in fact it does.

Pleasantly surprised at the process here. No photos or cash needed - 1 hr to get finger prints , photos and application proceeded and paid. Got a message 1 week later to come collect my document. Remember to book a time slot.

It was approximately a 2 hour wait, so take a book and a bottle of water. There is ample seating inside while you wait and everything works on a digital number system. The staff there are efficient, it just takes time because the system is slow and there are a lot of people needing the same things.

Spare yourself the pain and book anywhere else. Twice I've booked and arrived to "system offline" ... today was 4hours of waiting only to be sent away again. Terrible experience. Took manager's from 8am until 11am to even communicate with anyone

Applied and collected unabridged and vault copy certificates within 4 weeks. Lines moved quickly under an hour for application and payment and under 15min for collection. Call center staff were also super helpful when I called to follow up on application status.

I made an appointment for a client through BABS from 13hoo to 14h00. Firstly she was shoved into a line with others which had not made booking and was only seen to at after 14h00 and the staff was rude and unhelpful. I am extremely disappointed with this branch as I have not had this kind of issue at any other Home Affairs or bank branch.

Had an appointment for 13h00. Got helped at 15h00 and out of there just before they closed. Welcoming staff everything but welcoming and security staff not helpful at all. They actually turned away an elderly lady with a walker who made an online appointment. Very disappointed.
