Worst-case to stand for hour's and queues do not move..been here 4 times all just for collection of ID and Passports. So very frustrating..I guy's it's to be expected frustrating all governments run institutions. Would honestly rate a half star if it was an option. Very disappointing
I have never received such an amazing service from a government institution. The team is effecient, friendly, welcoming, supportive and very helpful. I came to apply for an ID for my sister, but we needed to have the deceased details, which we were not aware of. The front door light skinned lady helped advised what we needed to do, there was a tall front door male, who also assisted me in form completion and submission. Went to the cashier, was assisted by Mr Jakobs I think, coloured with gold wedding band who was very r friendly too, moved to reception the lady short small afro super warm and welcoming right through to fingerprinting. I am so overwhelmed by the level of professionalism and support we received here.
The que moves slow due to the number of people they allow inside... If you go to home affairs make sure by 06:00 am you already there... Because you will stand the whole day.. For them to tell you to come next week.
System is always offline. They probably serve about 20-30 people on a good day. Very slow service.
Got there early this morning just before 7 o'clock. The doors opened at just after 8 but the staff was already helping with gathering information and form completion. Considering the number of people, it went very well. Security controls the crowd very well and staff are friendly and efficient. Looks the the paid queue jumpers have not yet hit this branch yet. Well done.
Been standing in the son from 12 to 3 30 to collect a passport. Staff don't answer when you ask a question and is not really friendly and helpful. Must be the heat that I wanted to faint standing in for hours. This is the tops still did not collect my passport said come back tomorrow.
The service is NO GOOD! Was standing in the que from very early to register my newborn. Was told by the security multiple times to go back to the end of the line everytime it was my turn to go in. When I told him that I am going to report it because he is being unfair not doing it to any other clients, he told me very confidently to go right ahead. So I didn't even get to register my newborn thanks to that guy not letting us in.
The service here is normally good. It may be a bit slow and you may be given an attitude by some employees, but you will be helped. I was just disappointed on the 17th of December when we went there just after 12h00 and the place was vacant/closed. Apparently the lines are cut at 10am and after that they don't take any more people. I found this to be very disturbing. The same was said at the Department of Labour. Hopefully it's just the festive fever driving people crazy and things will get back to normal on January, because as far as I know and according to the website their offices should close at 16h00 daily.
There isn't a option for minus1000! Worst experience ever! Almost had a mental breakdown! Went in for collections been standing there since 6am out in the cold, was first in the line just to be helped last! My slip was verry convenienty lost in the system! Best of all there is a man roaming around thinking he is te bees nees but he is deliberately putting people in last that came in early in the freezing cold! THE OTHER THING ,HOW CAN YOU BOOK FOR A SLOT FOR AN APPLICATION BUT NOT BOOK TO FETCH YOUR ID,IT IS AFTER-ALL APPART OF YOUR APPLICATION! OTHER-WISE THE APPLICATION ISN'T COMPLETE!
They lack they are rude and the Toilets are dirty they have no toilet paper I am completely unsatisfied
