My friend took his dad for a maintainance because he has never supported him and he is now at varsity and the father is doing nothing, they went to kopanong court and the magistrate said his dad is not responsible for supporting him I guess that was because of NSFAS and he told magistrate that if the father isn't entitled to support him and can't afford the money he is requesting then he can keep his money the case was closed but the guy never gave up and took him to another court, only to find out that the guy doesn't qualify for NSFAS and his dad earns way more than the fact he can't support him he then cancelled NSFAS because it would be seen as a fraud now the dad is paying fir everything including university fees, food accommodation etc... The procedures made by this court are not complete because they never even bothered to ask for a pay slip...

Words can never describe the trauma I am feeling after visiting this place! Everytime I go that place I'm always scared of the harassment I will face from security, but today was worse, the security physically & verbally harrased me. I've reported to the court manager & pray he really takes action as he promised me
Never an enjoyable experience when having to visit a Magistrates Court. The directional signage is non-existent and it is extremely hard to to find the correct department / court room without having to find an employee or staff member to assist. The general state and condition of the building is in desperate need of upgrading and General maintanace. The bathrooms are below average and toilet paper is provided in a box on the floor at the entrance to the toilet cubicles. Staff are generally helpful and friendly.
Don't know why any person would want to rate this place more than 1 star. Who ever is in charge of this place must replace the security. Please tell them that the court does not belong to them and that they can change their attitudes.
Pathetic service. Zero telephonic response, and IF you manage to get a hold of someone, that's a very very BIG if, they put the phone down.
Was here since 8 o'clock,queing till inside,from 9am inside waiting on the benches without being assistant,they moving up n down yhooo this place need to be checked such incompetency.Sucks!
