I had a strange experience last night and this morning after drinking 2x Hero beers. I felt dizzy and unsteady on my feet and woke up with all the symptoms of having a hangover. Any idea what can be causing it?
I bought 2 cases of Devils Peak beer on Takealot. In the one case Devils Peak First Light 2 six packs was packed upside down and I found one half beer. In the other case Devils Peak Lager I found 1 beer which was completely off although the expiry date was way in the future. I did send an email to Devils Peak and they said their Quality Team will get back to me shortly. That was 9 days ago and nobody contacted me yet. I have bought many cases of beer in my life from various brewing companies and I can't remember ever having a single issue before ....
We had a great work function here the other day! Cool space looking into the brewing facility. The restaurant is closed, but they cater for private events
I bought the Devil's Peak Hero non-alcoholic beer yesterday on an outing, and tasted it for the first time. What followed after that first sip is a taste which I have only once experienced, a taste of drinking water from a glass which has been washed with dishwashing liquid and not rinsed out afterwards. I have never experienced this with any other beers of Devil's Peak, or any other brand either. After a few more sips and getting friends to taste, we came to a conclusion that there is only one place for this beer to be stored. In the kitchen counter under the sink, with the other dishwashing liquids. I don't know if this was perhaps an off batch, or if dishwashing liquid was the taste they were going for, but either way, it was a bad, albeit funny experience.
Beer brewed to perfection and accompanied by a great menu with a wonderful atmosphere. The Taproom Epping has everything you need to have a great time.
Beers always delicious, and we love the brasserie. Recently we had an incident where we had some Cape Pale Ale beers that lost their caps on the way to a camping site. After we got back and reported this, the lost beers were promptly replaced actually we lost 12 and got 24 with an after-hours delivery. So now I can add great customer service to the list of things I really like about Devil’s Peak Brewery! Now if only you will start making Beach Road more widely accessible… :- - I had this Belgian Witbier style beer at La Parada and it was honestly a dead heat between Hoegaarden and Beach Road for me, loved it!
We had lunch in the restaurant; a great selection of beers on tap, and Devils Peak really make great beer. The burgers are excellent as well and good priced. And the onion rings are delicious. The restaurant is at the working brewery in the middle of the industrial area, so while you probably wouldn't go there in the evening, it is a great spot for a Friday pub-lunch.
Devil’s Peak Brewing Company has a very impressive new brewing facility in Epping. It’s definitely worth booking a tour and witnessing the setup. And while you at it grab a bite to eat and a beer on tap at the taproom.
Going on the website and the pictures ‘off the menu” decided to bring friends here for a tasting and lunch. Website indicates open but , on arrival told that taproom has been closed since last year! What a waste of time and thoroughly disappointed.
Inaccurate description as this is strictly a production warehouse. Per the gate guard the restaurant closed over a year ago. Very frustrating as I took an Uber 35 minutes away to try this place out. It would take 10 minutes to update the site information on Google.
