One of the most tranquil and peaceful settings. Beautiful mountain vistas... comfortable accommodation that meets your basic needs, there's a self catering option or b&b . Excellent staff all round. Good hiking trails...

Accommodation is wonderful, in the midst of the beautiful views of the mountains. Chalets were kept clean, however are a bit old-fashioned. The camp is close to the most amazing hiking trails leading to unreal sights. However, where this entire thing goes downhill is the restaurant. The breakfast is good, but the Ala Carte menu is incompetent, featuring less than 10 items at a time, considering they’re usually out of stock in food. Staff is friendly, but not always aware of what is happening.

Unique authentic accommodation, huts are inspired by the Drakensberge itself! Friendly staff and lots of healthy Fresh food. Best views over the Drakensberge and the best place to stay if you want to go hike, single or multiple day hikes. This place feels a lot more like Africa then the other hotels.Rooms: 5/5

Absolutely stunning! Wish to come back. The two of us stayed for 1 night in November 2022: double room with good buffet Breakfast including park entrance- 1480ZAR Houses and location look like another planet. The room has everything you need: bathtub, fireplace, braai, fully equipped kitchen. No wiFi though. There is a swimming pool at the premises. Wish to come back one day.

The location is unbelievable, and for serious hikers, it is an easy start for a number of beautiful and challenging routes. The good: The staff and management are super friendly, helpful and welcoming. The views are incredible, and everything is maintained to a decent level. The buffet breakfast is generous and the shop is convenient. The not-so-good: The rooms are so dark - there's no light bright enough to read by. The water pressure is very weak, so having a decent shower is out of the question. You may have to tow your bags a bit to your room, so beware if you're a heavy packer. Bring your own drinks, the shop doesn't sell any alcohol anymore. Not much for the under 10 kids to do, but fine for the grown ups. The impact of the last two years can be seen in the small details - missing toilet seats in the bathrooms by the pool, the shop looking a bit empty etc. The campsite is a complete wreck, which is truly sad. it was a lovely stay, and I hope they will be able to turn around as tourism picks up again.

I was here last August 2022. My stay was great!! The room service and the room was super clean and cozy. The morning view is amazing!! I loved my stay. Definitely recommendRooms: 5/5

An incredible getaway location! The accommodation is a bit rustic, but there are fireplaces and braai facilities in each of the units along with a TV. The units were spotless and safe. Despite having thatched roofs, the place didn't trigger any allergies, unlike a lot of other accommodation. The beds and pillows were also excellent. The customer service couldn't be improved. The staff were both competent and incredibly friendly. Can't recommend Didima Camp more.

Food was terrible the chef made my steak well done instead of medium rare as i asked, and also i would suggest this place for hikes because there is a lot of hiking trails. The rooms are very clean and there is a fireplace if it gets too cold in the night. Service isnt great they dont seem too friendly to some guest.Rooms: 5/5
