I was having a terribly bad day, and came here in a real sour mood. The staff here were really friendly and they managed to cheer me up! I was really impressed that they continued with smiles and good customer service despite my mood, because they totally brightened up my day!
The store is has a great variety of items but they don’t always have what you need in stock. Many items have the incorrect price label so be sure to check your receipt. Supervisor’s attitude could do with some improvement.
Sharief Manuel helped me out with a prescription issue I was experiencing with my medical aid. He called them for me and helped resolve the problem.
The 1 star is for the clinic. Had the experience of being followed for the dischem trolley. If you buy lots of stuff, you cannot use their trolleys outside the store to your car. I wonder if anyone else had this experience. Please keep the trolleys in the store room so nobody uses them.
They’ve generally had what I need and the self-medication section has been sufficiently helpful in terms of providing advice as to what medications might be helpful. The queue has never been long which is a change from the Dis-chem norm and is greatly appreciated. Overall good experience and I keep going back.
The variety in this store is better than other branches. If you order something to pickup they are extremely efficient at finding your parcel quickly. Long lines move fast and I often don't have to worry about standing in the queue for too long.
To whom it may concern, Thanks for the amazing service received today,I had a standing appointment at the Competitor and was told when I got there that the sister was not in, disgusted I walked out, I then walked across to Dis-Chem and low and behold, I was assisted even after hours. This is great service and I want to thank Sister Ndlovu for the outstanding service provided. Welcome done .
I would like to commend Ra'eesah Stemmet of the Diskem Cavendish Mall branch in Claremont for the highly professional customer service I have received from her, on two separate occasions. This young lady is always very pleasant and courteous. A true example of a front-line employee.
I am constantly having struggles with ordering my chronic medication. Sometimes it doesn't show up and I run out of medication. When I went in to see what was happening, the system said the order had been cancelled due to stock issues. No one bothered to inform me. I order the same medication every month and even though I have spoken to Donald the dispensary manager MULTIPLE TIMES and he said he would pre order stock, it is now another month that I am waiting for chronic meds as they STILL haven't been ordered on Dischem's side.
Store is very unorganised and dirty piles of boxes everywhere. Staff are very unhelpful. When I got to the till, the cashier Azraa had a very bad attitude and was very rude. Did not even greet or acknowledge us when we got to her counter just started scanning our things and literally throwing them into the packet.
