Specifically for the Starbucks in the building. I love the convenience but the drink I got must have had spoiled milk or another ingredient. When I got the caramel frappacino it seemed all good, only tried it on the way home and realised something was wrong, as the ice melted it became far more obvious that something was wrong. Really disappointing considering the price of the drink.
This place is beautiful, has a very contemporary exterior, and a very ECP-friendly interior. There is a Sakura tree with a waterfall - which sounds very calming - and multiple café shops for breakfast and lunch. There is an express Woolworths and Clicks, and a Vida e Café.
Discovery Insurance is the most frustrating insurance I've ever came across. Communications from their Claim Department it's absolutely shocking and nightmare. They don't communicate with clients. It's 2 weeks now still waiting for my claim to be approve from them and there's no communication at all. Their lines are always busy and not going through since last week, 17 April 2023. My Car is sitting at HOFBRO for 2 weeks now and they haven't heard from Discovery whether they must repair my CAR or not. My days with AVIS car rental are getting finish and nothing has been done yet. WHAT KIND OF A SERVICE IS THIS??? YOU ARE DEDUCTING YOUR MONTHLY PREMIUM EVERY MONTH BUT ITS SOO HARD TO APPROVE MY CLAIM. TOTALLY NONSENSE.
Worst experience ever! Between the approved referred Discovery Panel beater and the Discovery claims consultant I am not sure who is more incompetent. After the 5th attempt from the panel beater failed to fix my car That was supposed to be a quick bumper repair and new fender arch they did such damage on other parts on my car and the actual work is still not fixed properly. The owner of the Panel beater is very aggressive and advised us that this is the best it will be. The photo's I shared with Discovery shows paint all over parts of my car, cracked paint and the actual paint work is shocking. This includes the new bumper. There are even more issues than just the paint. I have read reviews of this referred Panel beater where they use old parts and also more customers being very unhappy on various issues. After numerous emails to Buyisiwe Dlamini requesting for a manager or assessor to contact us to discuss these issues and a way forward, but there is just no response for days and then if any response there is no assistance on what we are requesting. We also requesting for a call for Discovery to repair our car at a Panel beater that actually qualified to do the repair, but we are getting zero assistance!!!!
I got 8 spam calls selling credit a few short hours after giving them my details: either they are selling personal information or an insider is; secondly, very poor service rendered when contacted about gap cover. I eventually gave up. There are better options than Discovery: their market dominance has made them arrogant and complacent which is exactly how empires fall!
Discovery car insurance turns its clients into prisoners.. i feel like you get punished for everything. They take points away for the smallest of things like having to brake when people push in front of you. you lose 10 pointsif your phone cant pick up signal or your phone battery dies while driving.. i feel like a criminal wearing an ankle monitoring system... only you are presumed guilty not innocent.. i hate evry second of it, its ruining my life. Its just another way for discovery to make big promises and not have to deliver by finding reasons to punish you... they go so far as to discourage you from driving at all... talk about home prisons.
We are always so quick to complain but Ntombovuyo Ntini from Discovery medical aid was brilliant in helping us resolve a incorrectly captured date from Lancet. She went the extra mile to sort out our issue and was just excellent. These are the types of employees you want to keep forever
I’ve used Discovery Invest and medical aid. The medical aid is definitely a scam because they try to discourage you from claiming the funds you’re entitled to by nitpicking your invoice and not telling everything wrong. I once had a claim for R1200 take 4 months to be approved, because they’d find something wrong with your amended document every time, instead of just telling you everything wrong so you can get it all fixed, in order to frustrate you so you quit trying to claim. Discovery Invest is a scam; they take a fifth of your investment when you want to invest. Their salespeople are scammers who don’t explain fees, that you actually pay them their salaries from your investment and that Discovery’s business model is to significantly profit from any withdrawal you may need to make. They’re complaints handlers don’t even address your complaint. They don’t even perform compliance monitoring on their salespeople because they refuse to even send me my call recordings.I should’ve checked Hellepeter first. Save your money under a mattress, rather.
Most USELESS Medical Scheme in South Africa. Exactly what they are doing: SCHEMING Charge a lot of money for cover but refuse to pay for medication that does not have life threatening side effects on me as member. I had SEVERE Side effects from taking chronic medication they FORCED me to take, after refusing to pay for the medication that actually works. It is a heart condition and even after my Doctor filled out forms and motivated WHY I must stop the meds Discovery wants me to take and return to the meds that actually works, Discovery still refuse to pay. I NEVER had any of these problems with Momentum Medical Aid and I am DEFENITELY going to return to them as soon as possible Discovery is nothing more than a bunch of opportunistic sharks that take innocent people for a ride. It is a money making racket!
Discovery, when your business is medical insurance, it is unacceptable for your call centre to have “technical issues” for two straight days. I have now had to pay for urgent MRI and CT scans for my mum outright because there was no way to get pre-authorisation from your constantly broken call centres. I look forward to wasting more of my life fighting with you for a refund, but I will probably lose the will after another 4 hours listening to your repetitive hold music while you invent new “technical difficulties” for me to navigate. Curiously, you’ve never had any technical difficulties deducting her premiums? If you can’t provide basic medical authorisation services when it counts the most, I’d rather not find out what level of service you provide to customers of your other products. You need to be better. A lot better.
