Dr Layla Bhikoo

I have been going to Dr Bhikoo for a couple of years now and always needed a doctor that would actually help and care for me. I feel that way about Dr Layla Bhikoo. She is friendly, knowledgeable and respectful. Her secretary is always on point as well. Keep up the great work ladies

Most pleasant doctor I've encountered so far. She listens genuinely to your issues and addresses them properly. Very small practice but cosy and clean.

Dr Layla is kind and attentive, and makes you feel comfortable. You do not feel judged when talking with her, as I have often felt with male doctors. I am very happy to have a lovely female doctor in my neighborhood as my designated GP.

Positives of my experience: Kind receptionist Neat waiting area Negatives - to be fair this wasn't Dr Bhikoo herself, it was a replacement doctor for her: 1. In April, I arrived there for my first time and I ended up waiting 30-45 mins because the doctor had a flat tyre. 2. First time I went there, I was diagnosed with influenced pharyngitis and received medication. The medication didn't work and I just got worse. I went back to them for a second checkup and I was then diagnosed with bronchitis and received a new set of antibiotics. I took them for a few days but I was just getting worse so I decided to go to a completely new doctor. This new doctor then diagnosed me with pneumonia and said it was so bad that I had to be admitted to hospital for 4 days. 3. When I received my medication from the doctor she did not tell me when I should take it and there was also no documentation about the medication inside the packaging. It's safe to say I will not be returning to Dr Bhikoo, I've had a horrible experience. Wasted a lot of time and money.

Dr Layla is an Excellent dr, I phoned her regarding my 80 year old Mother, and she visited my Mother at home with in an hour. Thank You dr, for your quick response and excellent service.

Love how she cares for her patients,very welcoming and detailed in consultation.
