Service from the Dr is excellent. Admin staff on the other hand very unpleasant experience. We have being see this Dr for 3 years now however its still not a good experience with the ladies at the front desk .
Dr's are excellent with diagnosis and prescription of meds, but admins behavior is unacceptable as appointments are moved to accommodate friends first. I made an appointment and asked for the 1st available doctor yet my file still got moved repeatedly. Tried questioning the staff and the lady was just defensive, as if I am unable to see or hear what is happening. We are all paying for the service and we all have urgencies. Please treat everyone alike.
From the minute you walk in there you feel like you're in the way. The receptionist is so unfriendly, rushed and very irritated. The dr told me I have ibs chronic condition and colitis and wrote up a script meds. Didn't tell what ibs is or colitis. Explained nothing just shoved the script at me and that was that. I asked for a drs letter and referel letter to specialist and I had to sit in a room full of people and sick people waiting for a letter for 35 minutes and eventually left without it. I will never recommend this practice or ever come back here I will rather pay cash and go somewhere where a dr takes his time within patients then be forced to be part of such poor service just because they're on the medical aid network. Very disappointing
Speedy service and a very friendly staff. Doctors are quick and to the point. I've been with these folks for a year now and haven't had one bad experience so far. Side note: The dentist is very helpful and I'd also recommend him for any of your dentistry needs.
The receptionist is very rude, she can never help with any paperwork, the is always an excuse. The dr is very nice but because of the receptionist I won't go back there. I waited 2 months for paperwork from her to add my dependent on my medical aid, and an excuse everytime in a rude way. My husband were very sick and needed a dr at 16:00 and she showed me away because they were to full???? He was willing to wait a bit.... their practice will be so much better with a friendlier lady or someone that is willing to help you... at the end of the day our money is paying her salary.....
Dr Smith, I must say, is a good doctor. That is where my praise ends, however, as I believe the practice he is at is absolutely terrible. Why take appointments if patients routinely sit for over an hour from appointed time? And the receptionists are not friendly at all. I hate this practice and will likely not return. Why is it so difficult to find efficient practices with good standards and sound principles?
What is the whole point of booking an appointment if 5 people are gonna go in before you actually go?? This is really frustrating because I've never been late for my appointments but I always see the Dr about 30 minutes to an hour later...
I am very pleased with Dr Hobson, will recommend him any day. As for the receptionists, they are not organised, the fact that you have to wait for an hour but whereas you have made an appointment really it is irritating.
Its very busy because of all the other medical practices in the center. But the staff is not always on point with what needs to be done. Almost everytime i go there something is wrong with my card, my file or i wait unnecessarily when i dont need to. The service could be improved greatly.
Spoke to Elna at reception and both her and dr Smit went the extra mike without hesitation to ensure we are assisted.
