Dr Razia Essop

I am a very pedantic person when it comes to people working in my mouth. I had to get a tooth extracted and they were so awesome about it. From calming me down do making sure every other second they are not hurting me and when I eventually just wanted to leave it and go home due to the stress they motivated me to stay and get it done and calmed me down. This dentist is an absolute hidden gem.

I visited Dr Razias practice on the 26 April for an appointment to have a sensitive tooth removed. To my surprise l met a very pleasant young dentist who walked into the room. Being an elderly man l expected to see Dr Razia, but, was told that she was fully booked for the day, and, if l wanted her to do the extraction l had to wait for another day. I was then asked by the young dentist, in a very calm manner l might add, why l was hesitant to have her remove the sore tooth? I'm old, she's young, so l told her that l would prefer an older and much experienced dentist to operate on me. She never argued and was willing to comply with my wishes. My tooth was very sore and all l wanted was for it to be removed. But, there was something about this very young dentist that amazed me. Her tone of voice and the calm and respectful way she addressed me, a fussy old man. So without even thinking, l told her that if she promised not to hurt me, she can proceed with the extraction, and so she did. Before l knew it, the sore tooth was out, and in no time. I felt no pain during the procedure and walked out of the dentists room smiling. At the moment l am just fine, a big hole in the gum, but no pain whatsoever. Dr Motala, l take my hat off to you and would recommend you to anyone and everyone l know. You may be young, but your nature and character is that of an old expert surgeon, and you sure know what you are doing. The best dentist we have ever been too. Patient, calm, professional and has the best bed side manner. She is outstanding and I would recommend anyone, especially those afraid of the dentist.
