After having a HORRID experience with this gynecologist I wouldn't recommend her to first time soon to be mum's as she was not patient, rude, highly inconsiderate, unpleasant and did not respect my time nor wishes for my birthing plan. Lied and misinformed me as to her fees. I attended my 3rd appointment with her only to find out she does not accept my medical aid for the birth and would require 65k for a C-section and I wasn't informed prior to that day, she then refused to do my scan and told me to find another gynecologist because she did not want me as her patient any further she then rushed me out of her office. This doctor does not care about you or your babies health. She is in it for the money.
My experience started well with Vatharajh. She seemed rather friendly but after my appointment today, I have never felt so belittled and disrespected. As a customer/client I am entitled to getting a second opinion. I expressed to her that I found out that a scan that she was making compulsory for me which is paid cash, I’m already paying so much on medical aid is actually not needed. Not only did she raise her voice at me like I’m her child, she quickly got rid of me as one of her patients with a referral letter, ended our 5 min appointment which mostly consisted of her ranting and the last thing she said was “goodbye, have a nice life”…what do you mean have a nice life and how do you in your right mind think it’s okay to talk to your patients, a pregnant woman like that? Would never ever recommend her to anyone. She is very disrespectful. Was very fond of her but after todays mess, I’ll gladly go elsewhere.
After reading some of the reviews I was sceptical. From the moment I stepped into the rooms, the receptionist was so friendly and warm. I found Dr Rochelle to be the most professional, thoughtful, thorough and sensitive gynea I've been to. Made me feel completely comfortable and at ease.Definatly recommended.
She has no compassion and is rude. Gran went for a checkup to her family doctor who said she should check with her cancer doctors. She came all the way from Newcastle to be rudely told by Vatharajh that the only person that she should be contacting is her. How can you be that rude to a cancer patient. She stressed out my gran who was already pretty tense for no reason. My gran went to her actual Cancer doctor and he was extremely nice. The complete opposite of her and told her . I dont recommend her, find someone compassionate for your loved ones, especially if they're very sick as she's just rude. If I could rate her less I would, as I feel like 1 star is too kind to her.
A truly disappointing and unsatisfied experience. I am more comfortable with a female gynecologist therefore I decided to look for a good one. Firstly how can you go in for family planning when your partner isn't allowed in.. 2nd, being told off by her, when I tried to find out more about the different types of medication and treatment available is not on! She did not want to listen and was persistent about her way when I know that this wasn't the only way forward. I definitely will not recommend her to anyone else neither will I be going back there. You pay so much just to get proper treatment only to not receive it in the end. What's the point???
The best gynaecologist ever. She is thorough and knows her job. She's friendly, committed and makes you comfortable. My pregnancy was not an easy one but she took care of us and gave us hope. I can't thank her enough. The receptionist is excellent and makes you feel at home. The best service ever.
It was my first time attending a Gynae, I went to Parklands Hospital I had a great experience, Dr Vatharajh is so welcoming very friendly, it easy to ask questions she made me feel very comfortable The receptionist is also very friendly. Im looking forward to my next appointment yeayyyyy!
She was able to diagnose me and followed all the right procedures to do so. However I felt like the whole process was very rushed. She didn’t want to listen to me and what I wanted for the treatment, and insisted that there was only one option which is definitely not the case. I since went somewhere else and I am receiving the treatment that I had hoped for, with care and compassion.
Worse gynecologist ever!! For a female doctor she has no compassion for her patients and she does not listen to what you got to say only she must talk. Treatment is rushed,scan is rushed ,diagnosis is not accurate and does not explain anything. The receptionist very rude and does not know what she is doing. Will never recommend to anyone.
I'm embarrassed to say that it was my first time going to a gyne and I was freaking out cause I didn't know what to expect. But Dr Vatharajh was such a sweetheart and she took me step by step through every procedure, answered my questions and educated me on many things. She is definitely my one and only go-to- gyne from today onwrds.
