They run specials when they want to get rid of their off cuts. I was very disappointed with their stewing beef it was tiny as if they were going to make billtong, the stuff behind the counter ignore you and if you call for their attention they'll say they are busy. The cashiers are the only reason I give it one star as they are super friendly.

Wow! Great experience shopping at Roots Randburg, the place was clean and the meat was fresh making you want to buy more. I would definitely go back again. Keep up the good work.

First time here today. Love the vibe and idea. I’ll rate 3 star overall. People and comments vary according to each client. Cleanliness, service. Please don’t make people que to pay for meat nomatter how busy you’re. The cashiers need to serve people quick fast and not wait for clients to pile up. Bullcrap menu and they do NOT deliver what you ordered. 1.1kg chips is not anywhere near 1.1kg. it's a rip off. The picture is "supposedly" 1.1kg of chips. Rubbish!! Avoid this place.
