Eco-Pets and Aquariums

Decided to go on my lunch break and have a look at your store as I’m new to the area and I’m building my fish tanks and want a local provider for all my aquarium needs. Said you were only 3km away on Google maps and ended up at some random persons house. Went on your website and saw a different address, typed that into Google and nothing popped in and I ended driving around for 25mins which was supposed to take me 6mins and ended up driving back to work without finding the place.

God Bless, and the good people of this wonderful place. I hope you are keen to visit them because they offer great service and a wide range of products and expertise. I have always had the pleasure of receiving top tier service and am really moved to Mention the helpful young lady in the aquarium section.

Pretentious owner / salesman. Prices are negligible compared to other fish shops and service they give. Product range very limited.

I'll never buy from this shop again. The woman who assisted us on Sunday, 11 April 2021, helped us find a blue aquarium globe/light, and I decided to take it per the price it was marked at, R175. She then took it to the counter, and marked up the price by R120 to R295 – without saying a word. Since I bought several items, I only realised when I got home. Unethical and dishonest behaviour.

Place doesn't exist. Took me to the outside of someone's house

The gentleman behind the counter often gives the feeling that he is looking down on his customers... There are far friendlier and better stocked pet stores close by.

Absolutely everything I need for all my varied pets. Friendly and insightful service and advice from the owner.

If I could give this place 0 starts i would. Found a hamster dead in its own wee and poo hardly any bedding no enrichment. No ventilation!!! Probably why the poor thing died. Staff members was notified, they laughed and said "it went to lala land". What sort of person says/reacts like that! Its obvious the poor hamster hadn't passed away today. Disgusting!!!!

did not get the plants i needed

We've been going there for years. Knowledgeable and helpful.We've been going to them for years. Knowledgeable and helpful. We get all the various live worms, crickets and cockroaches here that our cold blooded darling likes so much. Dried fish food and frozen worms available for our aquatic friends. Most of the time they have various types of hamsters and birds available to buy. Of course they stock the equipment needed to keep the furry horde and feathered flock.
