I have been using this service now for 24 years and im almost sure ill never use them again. The last 10 times i have been here i had to beg for service or they ran out of 95 petrol... this place needs some management. It is a disgrace to Engen
Attendants more interested in socialising with each other than tending to clients
Super place. Woolworths food inside, plus Krispy Kreme and a Wimpy. Very clean, friendly staff, well stocked and good experience.
Staff refused to help me in the shop because I'm not wearing a mask indoors even though the state of disaster has ended. Even when I went out side they refused to accept me money they are discriminating against those not wearing masks. Owners and managers need to read the laws of the land . There is NO reason To harass people or force employees to wear masks. TYRANY!!!!!! THIS IS A FREE COUNTRY!!
Just had a bad service from forecourt attendant with bad attitude, he took good 20 minutes to come refuel my car while he was just standing there smoking cigarette. I waited from 01:45 - 02:00 am 01/07/2017, i hope the manager will sort him out!! I will lay a complaint during the day, very disgusting
It's got everything one needs. It's in a very central location and the Wimpy is quite nice. As a working class person, it's very convenient to pop in to in the mornings to grab some lunch for the day. The petrol attendants are quite good too. Once I filled up my car and realised I didn't have my bank card in my purse. The petrol attendant was very nice and understanding and allowed for me to wait for someone to come help me pay! One problem, though, is that it can get quite busy and you may find it takes a while to wait in line to get petrol or find parking
Good service and friendly staff. Was very clean and well stocked in the shop. There was only 1 cashier and the line was long. But other than that perfect.
I absolutely loved the fact that the carwash not only opened up at 7am, but actually starts washing vehicles even before 7am! With our depot in Pretoria, I regularly made a point to have our vehicles washed there at 07h00 before our international tourist transfers to a wide variety of premier SA destinations until this morning when I was AGAIN harassed by both the pre-wash AND interior & drying team for "Christmas boxes" - and when I couldn't, they tore an interior door panel off of the door of our vehicle while I was inside to pay for the carwash... I WILL NEVER SUPPORT THEM AGAIN!!!! N E V E R !
I transport children and am so busy at times that I forget to check my fuel gauge. On the 9th of July was one such day so I quickly made a pitstop at a Total garage in Glen Marais remembering to ask the attendant to check water and oil. It was a trainee and he stood by the bonnet flashing the dipstick and saying that the oil was fine. I thought at the time that the level was not quite right to my satisfaction but once again I dashed off in a hurry. This still nagged at me so the following day I stopped off at your filling station to check on it. I was approached by a trainee Sphiwe so polite courteous and friendly. He checked everything, took out the dipstick , looked at it and promptly went and showed it to Frans his trainer . To my horror I needed two pints of oil. I worked in retail for 46 years before my retirement and often got rewards for excellent customer service. The service I received from your filling station was five star. I was so very impressed with Frans as Trainer and his trainee Sphiwe for their professionalism I dread to think what the consequences would have been if I had not stopped in by you. Well done to Frans an excellent trainer and Sphiwe for following his instructions diligently. Excellent customer service .
I got fuel at 12.05 pm and suddenly at 00.36 am my card has been used for R193.00 at the glen marais convenience store - NOT BY ME!!!!!!!!. Trying to get hold of the manager, they claim they do not have his cell phone number - how convenient! Very friendly - ott attendant assisted but obviously got my card details and used it before he went home !!! Beware of this service station.
