Farber Coach Works, Montague Gardens

Have had a very good experience with Faber so far despite my insurance company wasting weeks getting the claim approved. Friendly staff and working throughout the festive season to get my car fixed.

Took my car in for body work and a tail light replacement on Nov 28th and they had said the car would be ready in 8 days. They took an extra week despite misleading sms updates about the status of the repair. I had to call before finding out that my car was still in panel beating and not in the primer bay as informed in the sms. They replaced the bumper fine but the paint job was bubbly and they hadn't covered the battery terminal with the flapwhich I found while driving home by the wipers. Yet the car was marked as having passed QC. When I picked up the car, the car had an airbag error that never existed before that and now they want to add that to my claim. I will be going the legal route. I definitely would not recommend.Services: Electrical

The service from Farber Coachworks Montague Gardens is Top Class. Absolutely brilliant experience. Sean and the team are extremely helpful and go above and beyond!!! I personally would not go anywhere else to have any work done on my vehicles.

I'm appalled by the poor service at Farbers. My car stood there for over 3 months after a stolen and recovery claim! Take your car there if you're not in a rush and don't require decent service. Poor planning and lack of feedback. I personally feel they're too busy to care.Service: Body & Trim

The car was repaired finally and with no problems. The service was the big issue and the follow up. I finally called to ask if the car is repaired and they said., yes you can pick it up. Huh ! Then to ask for invoices took long. The pick up service with Uber never happened, went there myself. Calls upon calls and whattsapp.

One of the WORST companies I’ve dealt with. A 3 day job to fix work from last year clear coat was coming off in less than a year became a 2 week job, vehicle was said to be ready at a certain time, it was not, when it was brought out eventually there where over spray on the vehicle etc. Another week later I got the vehicle with paint runs on parts that was repainted a second time, some edges they’ve polished right trough the new paint. Zero promises was kept. Will definitely NOT recommend.

Worst service ever! Kept our car for 5 weeks, then when delivery was finally arranged they came 3 days late and returned our car with multiple items 'missing' from inside the car. Took a further 2 weeks of non stop hassling to get them to look into the issue and return the items taken out of my car. They NEVER phone you back or follow up.

They were appointed by my insurers, made us wait for 6 months “for the parts to arrive” only to claim that we informed them the work was already done. What a disappointment for a once great business.

This is the worst unethical company i have ever come across Car goes in as the insurance uses them, there is burn marks and cratches that wasnt on the car...... they are not fixing it Well then i guess it will be going the legal routeService: Body & Trim
