Fish Hoek Library

With extended hours until 17h00 and Thursdays until 18h00 gives one an opportunity to get there after work or a place to work while the kids dance in the hall. Good to see the physical notice boards are still up too.

Had a very pleasant experience with Fishoek Library My books was 3 months overdue , due to various circumstances, but Sizwe at the Library check in point was patient, kind and understanding in receiving the books back Thank you Sizwe, your friendliness eased all my discomfort, strestrengthen

It is heartening to see that books are still treasured here. A friendly, efficient and committed staff and happy people enjoying what is more a privilege than a right in these times of collapsing facilities.

The librarians and other library staff are always very friendly and happy to chat. I am able to find books by authors I haven't read before and very happy that there are lots of recently published books on offer. Heartily recommend it.

I love this library, growing up in Fish Hoek it was a lovely little outing in a peaceful place filled with words until today. Sadly the customer service is tarnished by one little librarian thinking he has authority. Sadly he has bullied and put down my elderly grandmother and I have first hand experienced his sad excuse for service. I am absolutely appalled by the recent treatment of loyal customers 50+ years. I will no longer support this establishment.
