Sports Day @ Steenberg Police Station

We find the station very helpful and available to assist when there is an urgent need in the community. As with all organizations, you have those select few who gives the rest a bad name, but those who puts in the extra efforts, really goes the extra mile and the support and availability of their Management team is excellent. A well deserved 5 stars.

I went to report my refuse bin stolen to get an affidavit for a new one. Got helped and the officer helping me asked the other two behind him if there are forms for the report and without even looking nor making an effort to check they said i have to wait till past 18h00 for the next shift to arrive because they busy. Now what type of service is that. All because they too lazy to get up and help one person in the whole station. Really poor

I live in Johannesburg and my elderly mother lives in Retreat. I had been trying to get hold of her since Friday 12 March 2021 but to no avail. Last night 17 March 2021 after exhasuting all other options I phoned the police station I Steenberg to see if they were able to assist me as my elderly mother lives with other people but I had no contact details other than an address. Upon phoning the police station I spoke to a very undrrstanding Sargent Dunn who once was able to send out a response team to see if she was ok. He descovered that she was ok but they had been robbed and is now investigating that crime. But all I want to say is we really need more men and woman in blue that take the time to help and assist the elderly. Thank you Sgt Dunn for your service

Went for police clearance. Excellent, professional and wonderful service by Sgt Anthony. He went the extra mile and restored my faith in SAPS. His interaction with all people who required his service was excellent. Keep up the good work Sir!

If you want to sit and wait for hours come to this terrible station. There is literally 1 police car for the whole station. No wonder there is so much crime in this area. Underfunded and the police don't give a s***. I'll rather buy a gun and go take justice myself.

Helpful, efficient police officers. Neat, tidy station. And everyone looked sufficiently slim, trim and fit to catch the skelms if they had to run after them! Thank you.

called a few times no answer, no name badges, officer refuse to provide his name, poor communication, arrogant - you can do nothing to me attitude, the building is neat, clean. public parking available,

Took extremely long when there was a street fight. Incompetence at its best ! Should not be paid tax money !
