Very friendly and quick to answer the phone. BUT wouldn't listen to my whole incident. When trying to explain how a women distracted me by begging to allow two men to attack me, he only focused on the fact that she was begging and dismissed anything else I had to say, saying they will investigate the following day. Meanwhile, this incident happened 20 minutes ago, where a women approached us asking for money to help with her guts hanging out. When we tried to call an ambulance, she quickly moved away, disappearing down the next street. When we tried to follow her to help, two men ran past and disappeared with her into the follow up street. We circled around the block 10 minutes later and found the same 3 walking through the next street, but they ran and hid away as our car approached. The police officer didn't even acknowledge that we encountered a women "with her guts out"

I had a very pleasant experience - the Warrant Officer on duty today was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful I didn't catch his name unfortunately. I went in to get some of my ID documents verified, and the process was very efficient.

I went there on Friday, and what a pleasure that was! The friendliest police station I have ever been into, excellent service and such professionalism at the same time from the police officers and staff! Thank you Claremont Police station this is so good to see!

Some staff are helpful but it’s scary that the phone was ringing for ages and there was no one to answer it. Lives could have been lost in that time. One of the ladies there told me to hurry filling forms in because she is working overtime. Just do your job and do it well and with passion or else to find another job.

I had to report a theft of items from my car and gave my statement to Constable Base who was most helpful and engaging. I received an SMS with the case number as she had promised and was telephoned the next day to make arrangements for checking for fingerprints. Given that SAPS members across the country operate under very difficult conditions I was impressed with the calm and efficient manner in which my case was handled and processed but most importantly the attention I was paid for what these days is a relatively minor crime. SAPS Claremont are to be congratulated.

Really appreciated the immediate assistance I received in terminating my neighbor's house party not once but twice on the same evening - 11:30pm & 1:30am, both calls were answered and a vehicle arrived to assist both times within 15mins of call being made. Thank you very much.

Good service for obtaining police clearance. Note you need two copies of certified ID or passport and proof of payment emailed or printed.

Had excellent service from Ngogela. He was assisting 2 individual people with separate statements/ paperwork at the same time to speed things up. Efficient & helpful. Wish more people had his good work ethic and attitude. My case number was SMSd to me in 2.5 hours

I had to report an accident and went mid afternoon. The queue was already long and in the end i was told i was waiting in the wrong room. There is a seperate room to report things which is the door on your left as you enter with no signage. I found the staff slow, somewhat amicable. Be patient and dont have high expectations. They will get to you when they are ready.
