Don't go there. There's staff who are very helpful but as an online student nothing of theirs went smoothly and there's no physical campus to Go to,to sort out any of your issues. You just need to keep calling and pestering and escalating things before they finally get done. One IT issue after another, coupled with a handful of people who are ready to find reasons why they CAN'T help you. There's a more who are willing to assist though, but the technology still fails them as well .
January is almost over and I still don’t have my results. I tried calling and of course they don’t answer calls, emailing them including the Doreen Mukuku and even logged tickets. Had to drive from the NW to Sandton campus 2 weeks ago only to get my results verbally not on black and white. The matter was escalated until today I have not received any feedback from them. I’m still trying to call them with no luck, I have been leaving messages with the admin and still no feedback from anyone. And with them saying it’s the system, they are forgetting that, that system is controlled by a human being. Lastly the email address that they send on reviews is also not helpful, I’ve emailed to them, sent my details and the response I received was to specify my campus, and I was told I’ll get a response from the campus til today, nothing!
The other reviews are shocking,I got the best student advisor who provided me with a lot of knowledge,so far I have had the best experience and I’m looking forward to attending next year.
Worst experience ever!!!!. Very unprofessional and poor service. Phones are never answered and emails not responded to. All I have been asking for as an account payer is approval for a transfer to a different campus because I am sick and tired of the treatment I receive from the Sandton campus. All forms were complete timeously and emails sent. No response!!!!
I enjoyed the service so far the advisors and staff members are so generous looking forward to what next year will hold … but I’m not impressed with the reviews I’ve read which is making me doubt to go there, but the campus is pretty calm and cool.
The campus is OK but not very understanding when it comes to certain events especially when I have logged a ticket and they refused to understand and they just wanted the work to be submitted
This is a terrible place! We registered and paid the deposit for my wife to study after she got approved to study here. Once we paid they sent us a letter telling us she was not approved. They refused to refund any of the money we paid including the deposit. They continued to deduct a cancellation fee of R4500 without any permission. No use going to the campus about complaints they will make you sit in lobby. I'm pretty sure we will never again see any of our money, and we didn't get a day of service or education for all of it. Please avoid this place the bad reviews are all true.
Tried to do online internationally - I've never had such bad communication from a private university in my life. Never go to Varsity. Period boss
2/10 marks not released, they don't answer calls or emails aswell as vc log tickets bad administration a disgusting experience.
My entire experience with Varsity College as a whole is incredibly disappointing. Firstly trying to register my daughter on their new system was near impossible, this after having received confirmation of acceptance. Then getting her transferred to Sandton campus has been a night mare. If you manage to get through on the telephone no one returns calls as promised. Still waiting for Nathi to get me info, 3 days later still no call and not able to get anyone to answer calls. I am at the point of asking for all my money back and send my daughter elsewhere. Update 7th March 2022. After much perseverance and reaching out to the campus head and understanding their frustration I can gladly say all issues have been resolved and now we move forward.
