Food Chain Menlyn

The breakfast buffet was amazing most definitely would come back again. We decided to go back for the dinner buffet the meat on the grill was absolutely dry. The dessert was dry,the waffles and mulva pudding was dry . The waiter assigned to out table had bad service. The old man didn't even have his name tag on he didn't greet us yet at the end of the meal he demanded a tip no smile no friendliness received from him. Overall I'd only come back for the breakfast

My Belated Birthday Treat.. I Took My 2 Friends Out to The Buffet at Food Chain, It is Out of This World. The Best, Delicious.. Hmmm I went for Chicken Feet and Giblets ect For My Second Plate. Dessert was Mothwatering.. My Friends and I Enjoyed the Meal and the Passion Fruit Jug was Nice..

The food was terrible and very tasteless.The drinks we ordered were just made of syrup and soo sweet the milkshake was a joke. It seemed like everything we ordered was bad we literally only ate the malva and custard. The waiter always seemed confused can’t answer most questions. In conclusion ,not value for money. Also there’s loud music which is soo irritating

Good selection of food. Great value for money. The deserts was a nice touch however the icecream tasted very bad. other than that, we enjoyed the experience.

Buffet is over priced for what they are offering and there is a mandatory 10% service fee if your table has more than 8 people irrespective of whether the service was good or bad. The rice was under cooked, the chicken stew was too salty and the food generally was not appetising. The one star is only for the dessert which was a little bit better and the fact that there's no half star option. The service can also improve, our waiter was hardly present, took a long time to bring our drinks and was asked a number of times to bring our bill. Overall, there are far better places you can spend your hard earned money than this place.

I've been to Foodchain twice. The first time there I had some kind of sandwich, I don't really remember what it was, like toasted bread with chicken, and that was the best sandwich I've ever had in my life. The second time was for my friend's graduation dinner. The value for money was great, the waiters were friendly, the food was good, but some of their plates were really dirty. The chicken curry was not really chicken curry, and the ice cream was not good. Other than that, I would not mind going back.

Among the best open buffets in Johannesburg, all kinds of food are varied, you pay only 200 rand and you can eat kinds of food and sweets. They also have fruit ice cream everything you want to eat for 200 rand and all this is offered to you something very beautiful if you are a tourist or you are a citizen of this place, don't miss you

The biggest disapointment in my life. The place was noisy the food disgusting. Our waiter was friendly n efficient but that is where it ends. Money totally wasted. Def not worth supporting. Plates filthy. Food not appetising. Last bit in bowl spread over fresh pudding. Buffet not refilled. Just terrible. Very sad but true

The buffet menu was underwhelming and tasteless no variety for R200 per person it's a total ripoff the fish had no seasoning and was full of oil. I don't recommend at all. My kids loves chips but they couldn't even finish a handful.Food: 1/5

The service was very bad. The food was worse. It was the worst experience I ever had in a restaurant. The waiter asked for gratitude which I felt like he did not deserve as he just placed us on the table and we had to figure out was going on by ourselves. The drinks tasted like salt mixed with vinegar and water. I would never recommend food chain menlyn to anyone.
