I've been to Foodchain twice. The first time there I had some kind of sandwich, I don't really remember what it was, like toasted bread with chicken, and that was the best sandwich I've ever had in my life.  The second time was for my friend's graduation dinner. The value for money was great, the waiters were friendly, the food was good, but some of their plates were really dirty.  The chicken curry was not really chicken curry, and the ice cream was not good.  Other than that, I would not mind going back.

Good selection of food. Great value for money. The deserts was a nice touch however the icecream tasted very bad.  other than that, we enjoyed the experience.

It’s a buffet restaurant with an option of ordering. They can make you anything you want when you don’t wanna eat buffet there. The restaurant is at Menlyn Mall, very very friendly staff and a clean place. Their food is out of this world. Worth a come back

Among the best open buffets in Johannesburg, all kinds of food are varied, you pay only 200 rand and you can eat kinds of food and sweets. They also have fruit ice cream everything you want to eat for 200 rand and all this is offered to you something very beautiful if you are a tourist or you are a citizen of this place, don't miss you

I really enjoyed the full and it was nice for everyone. I wish i will come back again for the next visit. Also this place can be an entertainment for our kids for celebrating their birthday.Recommended dishesBig Mac, Meat Platter, Chocolate Milkshake, Caesar Salad Dressing, Fruity Dessert

My Belated Birthday Treat.. I Took My 2 Friends Out to The Buffet at Food Chain, It is Out of This World. The Best, Delicious..  Hmmm I went for Chicken Feet and Giblets ect For My Second Plate. Dessert was Mothwatering.. My Friends and I Enjoyed the Meal and the Passion Fruit Jug was Nice..

Really can’t complain It’s an amazing place great atmosphere went for breakfast we did the buffet super cheap  warm well cooked food .would definitely recommend.

Group of 25 for 60th Birthday celebration. Outstanding: our waiter! Best service ever for a big group!!! Food: great selection, but unfortunately some warm dishes: cold or just lukewarm, bread only appeared about an hour into service. Will we go again? To have the same service: YES

It was on my birthday, they sang for me and the food was to die for  My lil one also enjoyed himself as it's a kids friendly environment.

Great place for buffets and they have a wide range of options if you prefer to order from the menu. The staff is good as well. My only gripe is, my last 4 visits the speed points are not working. So you might want to bring cash along, otherwise they are located near a few ATMs, you can walk out to withdraw cash to settle your bill.Food: 4/5
