I live around the Greenstone area and have always ignored the Food Lovers Market restaurant but no more.  The centre has a variety of restaurants that just seem hospitable and fancy. This little restaurant by the corner offers more and is well worth it.  I had their full breakfast breakfast and it was indeed filling. It consists of 2 slices of bread, 2 eggs, 2 Cheese sausages, Mushrooms, 4 bacon slices, a tomato and coffee. I opted for Rye bread at no extra cost Yeah, the other restaurants charge you for that. You can even opt for Almond milk or Oat milk This is great for Vegan and Lactose intolerant patrons at no extra cost What? Other restaurants charge over R10 for that. Our waiter even threw in some extra chips for us.  The service was amazing considering it was on the morning of New Years. The waiters are nice and pay attention to patrons. The food gets to your table within minutes and it tastes really fresh, delicious and well prepared. The pricing is fair and portions are really generous. I will surely visit more often to try their lunch and other breakfast options too.

The new range of frozen finger foods from Snackboss is really worth the try. Amazing samoosas, rissoles and spring rolls for home or any function to impress your guests.

We bought noodles that were on special only to find out they expired on the 14th of December 2022 , the other packet expired in September 2022 and the others in October 2023. These products were bought yesterday 14 February 2023. After having opened one packet , the taste was off so we checked all the packets we had bought only to learn they were all expired. I'm very disappointed in their service as a first time customer at the store. Please see pictures below, this is not right

The place is nice and clean, my heartbreak is the false Expiry date on this product.  I bought these rotis yesterday 14 February 2023 at around 17:20pm , We paid at the express till and I was with my sister show as wearing a black cap and long camouflage pants. Along these rotis we bought Green grapes and a 2l cold drink and paid cash. We parked at Stoneridge for a while avoiding traffic and drank the cold drink then left around 10 to 6. When I got home I put the plastic with everything in the fridge and went straight to sleep, the rotis had no spots on them by then. As I woke up to make breakfast for the family and heat up the rotis, when I opened the plastic to check if what I'm seeing is correct, the rotis have green spots on them and have all spoilt, I had to check them all one by one and all of them are rotten.  I'm very saddened as we live extremely far, I could have drove all the way back to food lovers today if I could, I'm extremely hurt because cost of living is very high for people to be throwing away food they bought without even eating it , throwing away an entire R40 I could have bought loaves of bread with, but because my family was craving rotis, we bought them.  What hurts more is that whenever I come to Longmeadow for business, j buy things at this Food Lovers , and I've never experienced anything like this on the produce, I'm beyond saddened.

My favourite branch. Excellent all round: stock, quality, service. I love that they close late. Tills are almost always manned to capacity, so even if the line is long, it moves at an acceptable pace if not fast. It's out of my way, but it's worth the detour.

Great clean store. The overall layout is a little strange but the store tried to do the best with the space they have. The have an amazing  table with a selection of spices and other random, varied goodies like vegetable pasta and hemp seed powder to weigh and buy as preferred. I have never seen this at any other Food Lover's before. There is a number of cooked/prepared food stations with a range of variety. I tried the beef gyro - it was superb and filling. The store was busy during lunch but they had enough ladies manning the tills so that was great.

Recent upgrades have definitely brightened the place up. Managers are always visible in the store and available if needed. Prices are reasonable and the selection is huge. A very well maintained store.

Long queues but it moved so very fast... Braai meat and smocked whole turkey. Huge ready made salads and a whole lot of rolls and snacks. Always a nice experience. Thank you

Really not someone to complain, usually love shopping here for the variety etc. However we bought meat and it was off. We didn't realize as you'd think you go to the shop and its supposed to be fresh.the last few times the meat sections have been extremely smelly,meat juice on the floors it's unbearable. Whoever is in charge of the meat sections have been slacking as its not always like this but this was shocking. We had to throw away our meat which wasn't cheap because of the smell it had when we braai it.  I love coming here but please, people will get very sick because of this it's just a heads up.
