Always welcomed, always busy, great crowds of travelling folk meet here regularly, a fun spot, chilling pool and patio, crazy cold beer and a pool table. Variety of rooms available, stayed in most already, clean and comfortable. Friendly fun staff and owner. Good base to refresh before or after Blyde/Kruger/Swaziland or Mozambique. Loads of information.

Location is not great, but manageable. Stuff in the kitchen didn't appear very clean, ants were everywhere, which I even found in a bottle of sunflower oil. The tub for the dishes looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while and the cloths to 'wash' them with didn't either. The bathroom at the dorm was basically an ant cemetery and the bath tub was full of bugs. The shower curtain was moldy as well. The facilities weren't that much better either. The pool was green, pool cues were bent and there was a sign that said you'd have to pay extra for 24h, and it was incredibly slow.

It's one of the Lowveld hidden treasures with such a great vibe and people. A place to relax, have a refreshing drink or just to play some pool. Highly recommend it to anyone who is travelling the world or in need for a place to sleep over the weekends.

Great reception. Lebo and Vusi were great hosts. Close your windows at night though. A handbag was stolen through our bedroom window in the early mornings. The person dragged it out the window using those poles for cleaning pools. You might also notice your food go missing in the fridge if ure unlucky. The place in itself however is amazing, great hospitality.

Contractors paradise. Not for normal backpackers at all. Queues for the bathrooms. Contractor stink and disregard for other travelers as they have a work priority, not a chilled out relaxed vibe at all. A real disappointment, after patronizing the place for a decade. Sorry. You won't be seeing me again...

weren't many ppl around and is not very close to the center. possible to walk to the supermarket. nice barman, but bit weird ppl around. had a lovely stay though and it's a good place to have a quiet night

Funky's is a cozy little place, that offers a nice a quiet bar with a pool and a pool table after a long days of hiking around the Nelspruit Area.

Very awesome vibe with a open bar, pool table, place to crash for the night, swimming pool, TV and great sitting area

Kids love going there. Fun and safe environment
