We went to the store just to buy the towels on special. Big signs right by the towels with the special, but once we got to the till the cashier said it wasn't for that 'design' of the towel and they had no stock of the towel on special even the there's tons of signs right by all the towels. The manager was no help at all. No customer service at all. Won't be back.

Hi all. Well my review is filled with mixed emotions. I bought a intel celeron laptop on black Friday. Went home unfortunately only switched it on twice and the second time it died and did not charge. I took it back on 7 December received SMS stating it was send in. Then on 20th January got another SMS stating the same. Ok all well never heard from them again untill I phoned them yesterday 8th Feb just to find out it was still in store. I kinda lost it as I use it for work. I tried speaking to the senior manager Adrian I think, he was not available. I then phoned customer service. I was on my way to phone the regional manager Mr Claasen but though wait first try the senior manager again as I worked in retail and know the feeling. I got hold of him he took my details and phoned me back within 10 minutes and said I could come for a refund. So thank you Adrian for excellent service but your repairs and after sales dept are really bringing your ratings down. And so taking down the stores reputation with them. You really did an excellent job and I thank you.
Great visit on a black friday. Mall still under some maintenance. Bought my self a A8 cyclone drone, saved 500. Lets hope i will enjoy this one. Take some great videos and pictures. I'm just worried about the play time 5-8 minute is it? . Also wanted the Cannon camera but bank account was not on the same whatsupp group. Will visit you again if I'm still around.
Fair prices and good selection but lazy staff at electronics!
I have always experienced poor customer service from Games Richards Bay. Departmental reps are not always available; however, my last visit to Game Richards Bay turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Ayanda Zulu went beyond Games Service department responsibilities to ensure that my queries were addressed in as little time as possible. Ayanda should be Games customer services ambassador and a role model whereby even the managers can take lessons out of her book. Ayanda deserves 5 stars, but Games poor service drag their ratings down
If you’ve bought a product from Richards Bay, be prepared for really bad service. They do not understand the process. My product is in repair for two months. The manager is slow in response and the staff are very unfriendly. I’m waiting at the counter for the returns manager who isn’t responding. They don’t even want to call the store manager because the staff knows they are not helping and they don’t want to get in trouble. This is classic poor management. It is a Hisense product.
POOR, POORER, POOREST SERVICE! Is the extremely poor customer service offered at this store intentional, or am I the unlucky customer?! It's not the 1st, 2nd nor the 3rd time for me to encounter such rubbish service from this store - even before the lockdown. Today I arrived at the store @ 11:45, looking to buy a gas heater. I quickly found three makes, but needed more info on each one. There was no one to assist me. At 12:00 I saw one store employee and asked for help. He promised to get someone to help me. I waited, but no one came. At 12:25 I had no choice but to leave the store. Next time I will never waste my time & energy going there. And from the reviews posted here, it's clear that the store management does not care about what their customers think as there is not a single response posted by them.
We left R3300 worth of stock at the till due to poor customer service from the supervisor at the till point, today 21 July 2021. The staff in the aisle of the furniture division, and the staff at the customer service desk were very helpful. When I tried to phone the branch afterwards, the number rang and cut off twice without anyone answering.. I do not normally shop at Game, and this is exactly the reason why!!!! NO STARS AT ALL!!
I seriously wonder how well Game Richards Bay is doing. Where's your customer service Game? The staff at Game Richards Bay have no idea what service is! I'm inclined to believe they have never heard the word before. I walked out of there so frustrated from the lack of interest and carelessness. All I wanted was to purchase a bookshelf, how hard is that? Perhaps consider training your staff Game because it's evident they have received none. Good Luck because that's all your branch can rely on...
