After the hustle and bustle of shopping it's such a joy to sit down at the instore restaurant.Its very cosy and has a lovely vibe as shopper's drift in and out.The waiter's are very friendly and willing to guide you through the extensive menu.Keep in mind that due to the popularly of the restaurant you must be prepared to wait patiently for your order. Don't let that deter you from enjoying a well earned meal.

Visited for breakfast, we ordered an omelette which my mom and I shared and they were kind enough to plate it up as two separate meals. The food and service was excellent.

Was a bit congested this past festive season management could have done better in insuring that every till was maned and was done in an affective manner to release the line. Prices are way higher that other shops so I would expect to not wait in line for more than 5min.

The promise of the difference is meet from fully stock shelves to customer service at the till points. The beauty department has some exclusive niche fragrances and products with staff that is well educated with the products that they are selling.

Wow for the absolute first time they had roasted duck and turkey and chicken for Christmas day. I was so tempted to purchase the duck because it looked that good. We opted for the Chicken and again for the first time it was Flippin delicious and not the usual dry inedible chicken. It was moist to perfection and cooked perfectly. Delicious... next time I am buying the duck as well. Well done. Twice they didn't have vanilla custard in their fridge. #CurryCulture blog team

I'm just out of words to share but big ups to the W- Gateway team for an amazing service. I had lost a give card the previous night and realized that I left my card inside a woolworths shopping troly at the parkig lot so decided to visit the today and received excellent service from Khanyisani from the Management team. I managed to get my gift card back...the guys from the troly team are trustworthy shout out to them man....I'm definitely a happy customer

Was at the gateway Woolworths store, the manageress from the beauty department was very rude and racist name is Ronell never came across another rude and arrogant person like her in my entire life, she's not fit or worth to be in that position and there was a staff member who called caused needed to return an item that was purchased the guy said we will get full refund and he lied and management covered up for him...

Whilst I love Woolies for their great products, the customer service in this particular branch really lets their brand down. On my last 2 visits especially, staff at the tills were congregating in one corner, busy chatting with each other loudly, with just one till open and a long queue. In the shoe department, we not able to use the seats provided to try on the shoes as there were two staff members using the seat chatting with each other and hogging the mirror to touch up their makeup. In the homeware department, tried asking another staff member for assistance, however her personal call on her cellphone was more important... And I could go on... Overall the staff were most unprofessional - not sure if these were seasonal staff brought in for the holiday rush, however this is not the standard I've come to expect from Woolies.

I'm impressed with Sydney, Lwazi and Spare at the Perfume counter who gave us exceptional service with big smiles. They deserve recognition from their employer.

Huge variety food items. Clean isles. Excellent help from packers. I've seen the floor manager every other time which is great. There needs to be a greater selection of local produce. Nonetheless, great quality.
