A lovely outdoor place to get all types of plants and trees. There is an indoor section too as well as a little pet shop. A cute little outing for the kiddoes if you love nearby. There are 2 small play areas too.
This is my neighborhood shop but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I get a lot of stares but very seldom will one volunteer to help. When I last went, I had to load 10 pieces of wood edging by myself into the car. As a black woman I have seen them rush to help white people and push past me to do so. Is this historical reenactment? Do better Gardenshop!
I do a lot of my gardening shopping here. It is a place where you get all your gardening needs met.
Beautiful outdoor area and Cafe. Helpful staff... But not as well stocked on products as the Rosebank branch.
I didn't find it pricey,compared to the other nurseries in the area. As we walked in, Lebu walked up to me to assist and her knowledge of the plants was a first for me in the 2 and a half years I've been in Jhb. Haven't tried the restaurant yet but will do. I found they had a nice variety, knowledgeable staff and friendly. I was impressed.
The GardenShop in Randburg, who also sells rabbits and other small mammals … it’s an absolute shame how you treat those animals! I bought a Havana rabbit yesterday as a companion to my current Havana rabbit. I suspect she was beaten because the inside of her eye is bloody. When we got home, we saw that she had a very bad wound on the inside of her back leg. And to top it all off, she’s pregnant. I have a suspicion that those small animals are being sold as snake food. I mean, R150 a pop for a rabbit? It is a bit suspicious. The environment these animals have to live in is appalling. Just hay to eat. The way the shop assistant treated the rabbit was absolutely shocking. I’m glad I bought that little Havana. I rescued her from certain doom. These kinds of places needs to be shut down and fast! The checkout staff couldn’t care less. Oblivious, really. They just made R150 out of me. What an absolute disgrace!!!

Good selection of plants and gardening accessories pots, soil etc in a peaceful setting, lovely to just walk around too. Also has a shop with indoor pots, vases and ornaments to buy as gifts.
Enjoyable garden shop with large selection of plants and pots. The restaurant is also good. A bit pricey for the plants but not too bad. Also has a large pet store with fish and reptiles and birds.
Lover of the place for 15+ years. Many enjoyable afternoons for lunch looking at and buying plants as well as the pet store. Really the perfect family natural setting.
