Very disappointed, I won a lot for R200 under reserve on 10-08-2022. When I phoned now to confirm if the seller will let it go for R200 under reserve, Bryanston Auctioneers informed me another person made an offer for it at their office and took the lot. I was not even given the opportunity to raise my offer to the reserve price. I was not even contacted by Bryanston Auctioneers to discuss. All they said is sorry, its sold and there is nothing they can do about it.

They have some nice items on auction although their customer service could use some work.

Well located with online auctions and easy pickups.

Dropped off my mothers prized goods and asked them to evaluate and place on the online auction as we were aware of the estimated value. However the goods were not evaluated and just put on to the general floor auction. We lost a estimated R10 000 due to their negligence. I cannot recommend their services to anyone, avoid at all cost. We are still awaiting payment after three weeks.

Super clean stuff at a bargain price

Jan is a true honest and obliging gentleman. He always gives you a fair price and he sells your goods very quickly. He arranges for pickup and will come to your house if you can't get to his premises to examine your goods. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs an auctioneer.

A constant strean of good quality stock thanks to the upmarket address. Knowledgeable and helpful staff and probably the auction house in jhb that has adapted best to the covid pandemic.

Avoid these people, there is no valuation of any kind and they will just put your items under a general auction and get the bare minimum! They have no expertise of any kind and is just a chop shop for your antiques and collectibles.

Excellent service and very trustworthy. We received and unexpectedly large payment for our stuff they collected and sold. Well done Jan and team!
