Gateway Shopping Centre, Durban, South Africa

Contraction every where, I wish they have done small potion for a renovations and move to another place....not to have scaffolding every where. And of course my rate will change once I visited again when work is done, and I can't wait.

Gateway shopping centre is one of the best malls to have fun at!! If you ever just want to spend time shopping with friends or family Gateway is the place to be ... there's variety of of stores to buy millions of different things from jewelry to clothes to accessories, you name it! Gateway is also a very fun place to spend time with your little ones ,because there are tons of fun rides at funtubbles and many different activities you could do here and there. Gateway is also a very entertaining place to be, since there's a movie centre and not to mention the 9D virtual reality ride . Staff everywhere is very friendly and helpful. The mall is always clean and not to mention the decorations....just superb.

One of my favorite places to visit when I am in Durban. So much to do. A wonderful experience everytime. And always themed beautifully eg for Christmas

Mug and Bean used to be one of my favorite places to go for that home tasting comfort food we all crave at time. We visited Mug and Bean at Gateway Theatre of Shopping late this afternoon. My spouse has the chocolate cake with ice-cream which was a large serving and she enjoyed. I ordered the gourmet burger, BBQ Cheddar, which was somewhat of a disappointment, the pattie was 100% beef which I could taste, and done medium rare for flavor. The cheese did not have and BBQ flavor to it. Besides the bun being egg washed to give it shine there was nothing gourmet about it. I am fully aware of the increase in food prices these days but to be charged R33.00 for a tiny can of coke, you know those ones that are thin 330ml is daylight rip off. And to top it the straw that you are served with is biodegradable but when inserted into the can of coke it causes a reaction and the coke fizzles over spilling have your can onto the table. It's as if the cam of coke was shaken before the serve you. This happened twice, they replaced the first. I did not worry about the second time. The friendly waitress cleaned it up, went and spoke to the manager about the problem and he admitted that the straw was the cause. Now, if you as the Manger know that there is a problem with something do not serve it. Not recommend.

A very big and beautiful mall that has a lot of stores and restaurants. One can do everything all in one place...

Mall is air conditioned and has many retail and eatery stores on multiple levels. A place to go shopping for the whole family.Go there and you will find it, elegance, discounts, yum the list goes on. Has a buzz and is a hive of activity.

We had a lovely shopping experience. As a mother who’s always wary when I shop with my littles, it was nice to see a clear presence of security. They were also friendly and helpful with directions and redirecting us to lifts as the others were worked on.

Great variety of shops: Clothes, shoes, gifts, toys, bags and great places to eat.

Beautiful, large and spacious mall. Great mix of stores. Movies complex and wave pool with loads of entertainment options. Tasty selection of restaurants catering to all tastes. Your one stop entertainment, shopping, dining, banking destination.
