We had the privilege traveling Cape town last week, and had a one night stay in Hermanus, This was our decision as this was close to where we stayed.. I am full of nonsense when it comes to pizza! But this was probably one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! We will go back only for this restaurant and lovely pub vibe! Thanks for this amazing experience!
What a great surprise, I popped in here for a drink and snack on the way home and loved it. The pizzas were great, the sushi was nice way better than one would expect from a pub. Service was friendly and efficient and the views of the new harbour is nice. Definitely recommended!Food: 4/5

Lovely views and shows both premier league and six nations rugby. Live music a few evenings a week. A bit outside of hermanus centre so book a cab in advance if coming back late at night
Our local... Last night we watched and listened to the amazing Keagan Williams with fellow Groove Missionary CJ. Such talented musos! Always a jol! Didn't eat there last night, but pizzas, sushi and other food is always good. It's a week later and we came for pizzas. The place was packed which was great to see, but unfortunately it seemed to have a knock on effect to the quality of the food. The pizzas were terrible. First one eventually arrived luke warm. We started eating. Second one arrived ice cold. Sent it back.. The plate came back hot, but the pizza was still cold.. Bleh.. There were hardly any toppings on either of them. Didn't even get through half. Disappointing.
Cool pub in the docks with a sea view, delicious pizza and comprehensive drinks menu. A little grubby in a seaspray kind of way, but a vibe with live music some nights. Unpretentious and friendly staff.Food: 4/5
Shared laughter, good conversation, good company and great music. Takura, Manu and their audience made the evening spectacular Kid-friendliness: They treated our baby girl with such friendliness and care when we were busy with a meeting there.

The location is magnificent! Such a pity the owners & staff are unwelcoming & not that friendly. It's sad to see such a local gem, empty on the few occasions we have been there, to sit at dusty tables to enjoy the view if the harbour & the seals & whales. Their pizza is good, we shares a seafood pizza which made up for the feeling that we were imposing
The pizzas are good, but we ended up having to get up more than once to place our orders at the bar. There was no one reading the crowd, so the musician had free reign, resulting in the music being way too loud to even hear the person next to you! Overall, a nice vibe for late night patrons.Food: 4/5
