We had the best experience with Global Paws. Everyone, especially our agent, was friendly, helpful and knew exactly how to approach our difficult situation of immigrating with 6 cats to Italy. I would highly recommend this service and it was truly the easiest part of our relocation thanks to their guidance. Every cent was worth the peace of mind that our cats were being taken care of and doing well. Great service and great people.
We received excellent service from Toinette and her team in JHB. Our cat stayed in their recommended cattery for 6.5 weeks before traveling to the Netherlands. She frequently visited him at the cattery and provided us with updates, photos and videos at least once a week. The communication and service received was great, although it is a lot of money, the price is comparable with other companies and worth every penny. The crate and bedding provided is very comfy and they even included our cat's personal blanket in his crate.
This is my 2nd time using Global Paws, and another 5-star experience with the company. I was assigned Trisha as my consultant and she took all the stress off my shoulders in making arrangements and processing paperwork. She communicated clearly with me in regards to what documents I needed to submit to her and then she did all the rest, what a dream! I'll only ever used GP going forward. Thank you to Trisha & the rest of the team.
The service I received from Global Paws and my agent Nicolene was amazing. My pet arrived safely to my doorstep in the Netherlands. He is super happy to be in his new home. I highly reccomend using Global Paws if you want to ensure the safe arrival of you pet overseas.
Toinette and Donovan are absolute stars, they went to so many lengths to get our cats over as quickly as possible, with Toinette managing to get them on a flight that required a special crate to be made, and then when something happened with the airline, she bent over backwards to get a new flight just a couple of days later. I am pretty sure JP never sleeps as he was even offering to fetch the cats at 3am! Toinette was happy to wait after hours when we needed to drop them off with original certificates. They really all did absolutely everything they possibly could to get the cats over, and they followed up with pictures as far as they could have, and followed up to make sure everything went well. Couldn't recommend a more caring company to help move your fur babies!
We used Global Paws to relocate with our dog and cat from Johannesburg South Africa to Sundsvall Sweden in December 2022. We received excellent service and assistance from Nicolene. We appreciated how patient she was with all of our questions. A process that was very stressful was made totally effortless with the work of the Global Paws team. We were also very impressed with the agent that they worked with on the Swedish side, Jakob, who drove our pets for 4 hours in the evening to bring them straight to us safe and sound. Many thanks!! After 3 months of waiting, Diesel arrived in Dubai - our biggest Christmas present! We cannot thank Marinda Kruger enough - every commitment made by Global Paws was met and exceeded, they expertly took control of every step of the process and above all, they genuinely care about our animal. 5 STAR SERVICE - THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH
A big thank you to Nadine Matthee from Global Paws. Our big boys arrived safely after the long distance traveled. There were no problems on the way and although a bit ''jet-lagged'' they recovered very well. Our many thanks to the team involved.
Moving my dogs, Sunny, and Barrel, across the world. The initial plan was to fly over with my dogs as excess baggage from Cape Town. Covid hit the world pretty much as I got the request to go for my final medical checks. South Africa landed up almost instantly on the red list. Quarantine regulations and travel bans were then put in place by Canada. I had to find a different plan for the dogs. I then looked for an agent to help with the dogs, I contacted Global Paws as well as three other companies for a quote. I got two responses on my initial e-mail; I chose Global Paws. The information pack they sent me was thorough and detailed, I knew exactly what was included and everything I needed to do was listed. It was also an all-inclusive quote from home in Cape Town to my new home in Canada. I would not have to worry about clearing the dogs or handling their transfers as I would be stuck in quarantine. I flew over on the 25th of April 2021 after months of struggling to get a flight out of South Africa. Nadine at Global Paws had the crates delivered to my home and the dogs’ sizes were checked to make sure the crates were correct. She also checked in regularly with me on flight availability for the dogs. I was only able to confirm a date once I had sorted out my accommodation here in Canada. In June I asked Nadine to look for flights and then the battle started. Airlines were cancelling flights constantly. There were limited options. I initially wanted to fly them out of Cape Town but after months and months of effort on Nadine’s part I decided on her advice that I would try fly them out of Johannesburg. They were collected from my brothers’ home in Cape Town on the 25th of November. All went smoothly and I was informed that they were good at the kennels in Johannesburg and had been cleared by the vet. They were taken to the airport the next day only to be removed from the flight because of commitments KLM cargo had to Air France. Nadine let me know immediately and had to deal with my disappointment and anger. This process was repeated two days later. How Nadine and the team at Global Paws deal with the runaround they receive from these airlines I don’t know. They have angry and concerned pet owners on one side and very dismissive money focused airlines on the other. My dogs then stayed at the kennels until Nadine managed to secure a flight for them 10 days later on the 8th. I was kept updated and sent pictures and videos. I later heard I was very lucky to get my dogs on that flight. My dogs were also taken off the flight in Amsterdam that would get to me on the 9th and landed up back in the Pet Hotel there. I received this news from the agent that was going to clear my dogs in Toronto. I was shattered, and then I received a message in the early hours of the morning. Once again Nadine worked her magic and somehow managed to get my dogs on a flight to Toronto to arrive on Saturday the 10th. She must have been up all hours to make this happen and I’m so grateful. I was asked by other people who had animals booked on the same original flight how I had managed it and I just said Nadine did it. My dogs were dropped off at my home at 8pm on a Saturday night. The company Global Paws contracted here was very good and kept me informed via sms. After an initial settling in period, it’s officially winter here now, my dogs are settled and very happy. Today they made it through their first experience of a walk in -18 weather, they are ok with wearing a sweater and we are working on wearing boots. They love the snow, and would love to be allowed to chase squirrels, raccoons, and coyotes. They are eating well and have adapted to a different style of living. Thank you so much Nadine for your assistance and your patience. Without your advice and magic I would not have been able to get my dogs here. You delivered on your promise and answered all my questions, you also handled my ranting and disappointment with all the delays very well. You keep people and their pets together and that is priceless. Thank you.
