Goundens Curry Den

Still the best value for money - been with the Goundens since the early days. I'm not getting into the taste debate, lest I lose some of my mates. The chip chow is an unbelievable innovation - chips in a bunny chow with a gravy of choice. Gonna try the dessert one day.

We went for takeout bunny chows. Mutton, chicken and broad beans. Yummy. It may be a bit spicy for the uninitiated palet but oh so flavorsome. A quarter bunny is a huge portion for one. We all had leftovers which we warmed up in the airfryer for the next day. Vegetarian options: Broad beans perfect for the vegetarian. Parking: Parking a bit tight on the road but people come and go all the time. It was Holidays and lunchtime when we went.

First time eating a Mutton bunny at Goundens. All I can say it's on my top 5 favorite bunny places in durban. Service was super quick at the table. The bunny quarter was quite big with a generous amount of meat and gravy. It was well worth it. The taste was nice and flavourful it had a nice aroma not too hot but just right. Place was busy. But service was guick and fast.

Its always busy here because the food is so amazing!!! Especially at lunch times. Unfortunately there is no line or much order when ordering but the cashier or the guy taking orders seems to know what his doing. Have to try the Mutton Bunny Chow. Not very spicy absolutely delicious!!! Please consider lines, barriers, markers for placing orders & collecting.

They make the best curries in Durban. One of the best spots to enjoy Indian cuisine such as their bunny cows, roti which are perfect!!, delectable curries and more.Food: 5/5

Food is amazing but you gonna pay a kaka lot for just bread and curry. It is not worth as much as they price it for. I recommend swaadisht. Great food and much more reasonably priced. This place charges beef, muttered and chicken bunny at the same cost. Also they don't take card machines so there is no additional expenses. It just cash profit and at high costs.

The consistency of this place is spot on...food is delicious, bread is always fresh regarding the bunnies, service is prompt, one of the best bunnie joints in Durban Food: 5/5

Man Oh Man what can I say. RED CARPET BUNNY. Absolutely flavourful and spices that hit every pellet on your tongue. Service was great didn't had to wait long. When I'm in Durbs again this will be my lunch spot. Durban Tradition. Thanks to the team and keep it but.

Still setting the bar for the famous Durban "Bunny Chow" food is constantly good, ive been visiting this establishment for many years, always busy around lunch, you will find a seat though.
