This gym is getto. Extremely full. You do not see the cleaners, floor is usually filled with drops of peoples sweat...no man... it has detoriated so much since ive last been here. If you however love crowds and congested places....this is for you.
This Club really really needs to look at improving the ventilation because it is extremely poor, As soon as you enter the club there is a very unpleasant musk/humidity in the atmosphere. Once you proceed downstairs you get hit instantly with the strong smell of Urine and "The Brown Stuff". Enter the bathroom men's and that smell is amplified . For the exorbitant premium that we pay this is extremely unacceptable. Additional to the above, not really the fault of the club but its urine constantly gathering under the urinals, members are unfortunately the issue here but the staff could increase the frequency at which they clean the bathrooms. Equipment needs to be updated ,Cables are always breaking etc. If convenience was not a factor I would be training at Karaglen.
The club is always too hot - either the air cons are not on or not working or the heat from the pool fills the club. It is unbearable. The classes held in studio1 are always too loud and disturb your gym session or your enjoyment of the gym. You can hear the music through your headphones. It is unpleasant sitting at Kauai and enjoy anything as the music is blaring in the background. Not enjoyable at all.
Waow it's a big gym club I loved it
For the last few months, there is always UPHOLSTERY REPAIRS happening and it takes weeks and sometimes months to fix cables and/or equipment. When the upholstery comes back, sometimes there are holes in them within a day! The equipment is not maintained like it should - poor lubrication on equipment, cables not tensioned properly, etc The hygiene of the gym is also questionable - I’ve seen roaches in the mens change room and there are always members water bottles left behind or used tissue paper stored in-between or on the equipment. The turnstile at the entrance of the gym is also always “out of action” recently.
My daily gym. Better than most gyms in the area. Classes are great People are considerate and wipe their machines after use. Staff are not so friendly all the time but it's ok. I'm just here to gym and get out. There is a Kauai inside so quite convenient. I like the Yoga and pilates room.
My locker was broken into and my possessions were stolen. My phones were hacked into and money transferred from my account. They asked for my contact details and more than 5 weeks later, not a word from the gym. I had to cut all ties with Virgin active. Worst part, I wasn’t the first victim and no real warning of this syndicate was made. You get sms and message on the big welcome board when there no water or air con isn’t working, but nothing when there’s a syndicate targeting members’ possessions.
Reception not so receptive. If you are new, you may struggle to find your way, found them playing with phones during load Sheding and I struggled to find my way. But the facility is well equipped, I enjoyed the workout.
I've been trying to get hold of a consultant that signed me up since November. Every time I get there he is not available. I was charged twice for sign up and he said he would sought it out. Still waiting. His name is Cooks. The staff is unfriendly and not helpful at all. I will definitely not renew my contract
After being practically harassed by Kayla to sign up. I get to the gym days later and I'm not even loaded onto the system as was promised. She hung up the phone on me when I aired my frustration as I did ask her if I could go into the gym and collect my membership card. Although the team at greenstone were professional and helpful your sales staff need to do their jobs in customer service
