Lovely restaurant. Great spot to visit for a catch up session with a friend. For the quality of the food served, they are more pricey than what you would expect. The portions sizes are not necessarily generous so the pricing doesn’t quite make sense. However the staff are all wonderful! Their service is excellent across the board and the atmosphere has been pleasant in all the occasions s I’ve been there.
Wide menu selection, good coffee and awesome selection of baked options - their cheese cake is in a different category. My friends were happy with other confectionery options. Parking on site with in and outside seating.
Affordable lunch burger special. R50 for a burger and chips. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are usually friendly. The owner is always nearby and you feel well looked after here. Prices aren’t too bad either. Food is always good!
Nice place and the only one open in the area from 6h30 in the morning. Breakfast was good, except that the avocado was a little hard…..should perhaps have asked.
The algarve steak was very good. Done medium and better than most steak restaurants. The chocolate cake was terrible and you only tasted the bicarbonate and it overpowered any chocolate flavors if they existed. The carrot cake looked dense and I suspect came from the same supplier. They were running a special on cake with a cappuccino for R60. Could be the reason cakes were so bad. Coffee is still one of the best in town. Will come back but no more cake for me. We went back on the 22/4/22 and was very disappointed. The same meal we had last visit was made poorly and looked like they ran out of ingredients for the dish. We had the Algave x 4 and we complained to the manager who said that maybe they didn’t put all the stuff that was supposed to be on the plate and he was sorry. Thats all he had to say and left without rectifying the dishes. It was decided that we will not return to this establishment anymore. Sad, because we have been regulars here and can’t accept such inconsistencies and still pay for it.
Very nice place, the vibe is really cool. The waiters are very friendly. I ordered one of the sandwiches - a chicken one - with a passion fruit crush, delicious.
Not to long ago this was a great place to have breakfast , now it's just not the place to go for good service , mushrooms look miserable, sausages look recycled, service is slow and unimpressive. Now it's so cold and no heating . I could go on and on .
Had a lovely breakfast and fresh orange juice. The service was fantastic, unfortunately we were a little pushed for time, but couls certainly have stayed longer.Food: 5/5
Good food. Watron efficient but did not observe a smile, not engaging. Staff very noisy to the extend that the background music cannot compete...
Fairly disappointed with the cafe , there are better in the area. But they do have good affordable specials.Food: 3/5
