Nice restaurant for a quick lunch/brunch. They have fantastic specials and combo's that are really good value for money. The food was a nice decent meal, protein portions were generous, although I would have preferred more cheese sauce with the chicken schnitzel. The quality was good for the price we paid. They were very stingy with the Horlicks powder very weak mixture, had to ask for more, and even then it was still a little weak. The service could also have been a little friendlier, but overall it was a pleasant experience.
The restaurant is small, but has cozy seating inside. There are also tables just outside the door which are partly enclosed by signboards advertising their special dishes. Staff are friendly and attentive. The menu is simple, but has a good variety. The meals we ordered took a little longer than expected, I suspect that it is because the meals are freshly prepared; the meals were fresh and tasty. They have a selection of special offers, some of which are always available, and others on specific days. The staff wear masks and I saw tables being sanitized after patrons left. All in all a good place for a quick meal when visiting the mall.
Well managed and well trained waiters. Good menu. They have been here forever it seems.
I had the privilege of enjoying Rossini’s R75 Chicken Schnitzel recently, and I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size. The Vanilla Milkshake I chose to enjoy with this meal was reallllllly good, and the ambience in the restaurant was great. It honestly felt like I could while hours away looking at people walking past and life going by in the mall next to me! My waiter, Carl, was ABSOLUTELY fantastic too. 5 stars, and a see-you-again-soon from me!
Normally I enjoy the place, the food and the vibe. It has good service and is priced competitively. Today i ordered a omelette with spinach, peppers and cottage cheese. What a disappointment, a rubbery omelette, with bitter spinach, hardly any cottage cheese and far in between pieces of chopped peppers. Hopefully this was a fluke as it is a very convenient and nice little cafe.
I was at your establishment for the first time for lunch just now. Ordered a Salmon stack which was delicious. However, the service was not as impressive. When my order came no one asked if I needed anything else until I was done eating, I waited, someone fetched the plate and still didn’t bother to ask. Eventually I stood up and went to the till point to request my bill. All the while there were 2 white ladies in the tables next to me and they got excellent service. I am not one to pull the race card but it’s kinda difficult not to if the difference in treatment is glaring.I tried to address this with the waitress and she smirked like I am being crazy or something, needless to say how upsetting that was. Clearly I am not valued as a customer and my opinion doesn’t count. Nonetheless it is a quiet restaurant with great food but sadly my experience with the staff left me with a bitter taste.
I really enjoy coming to this particular restaurant as it brings a homely and friendly environment with good service and great meal specials that are affordable and valued for money. This restaurant is truly a secret Gem in Brooklyn Mall. I highly favour this restaurant. It is very well managed due to the new ownership that has been around for the last 2 years or so. A great variety of food is also available making it unique and providing innovation and creativity with the dishes served.
Great place for a drink and coffee. Just don't order the fish... We ordered the hake and calamari special. When it arrived I could have mistaken the fish for frozen box fish, and the veggie side was a mixture of steamed frozen vegetables. Not acceptable for resturant grade food.
Despite covid lockdown, a visit here is worthwhile. Friendly service. Reasonable selection of foods. We had 2 breakfasts in late afternoon. Situated in the Brooklyn mall, parking and accessibility is easy.
What a pleasure to eat here. Work close by but on Saturday had sit down there. Food and service all was fantastic. Highy recommended!!
