Ordered Eggs Benedict and got cold hollandaise with poached eggs on a normal whole-wheat bun rather than an English muffin. The waitress didn’t communicate that they were out of English muffins beforehand. Ordered a croissant with cheese and jam, and it came without jam and with old cheese that had dirt in it. Waitress told me that the Benedict was already cooked when I asked for it to be sent back and argued against me sending it back. My partner ordered the same though asked that the hollandaise be warmed, and it came back like-warm. Serious lack of quality control here, needs an attentive manager at the least. Would not recommend.
2 other tables had clients, still waited 15 minutes for an orange juice. Cookies that came with the coffee are chewy and dry. Table was grimy. The coffee was good though.
The Daily at Waterkloof Corner can’t cater for a large event and be open for the public if they aren’t prepared to have sufficient staff in the restaurant. Waiting over an hour for eggs and bacon is embarrassing and pathetic. Rather close down and become a full time caterer then.
Coffees are good, friendly, helpful and efficient staff, the menu is small and changes frequently - food is wholesome, delicious and tastes very "home cooked".

Terrible experience. They were not busy at all but we waited quite a while to be helped. We drove there because they are listed on the entertainer app, we were told we cannot use the app why are you listed if we cannot use it? We ended up only drinking coffee and had to go to the counter to pay because there was no service what so ever.
The staff is friendly, great vibe. I normally pop in there for a quick lunch and coffee and just love the atmosphere there. I definitely recommend it.
Very good ! Took my dad 87 there for coffee , which became a leisurely lunch . Food delicious .
