Do yourself a favour, if your phone breaks, DO NOT Bring it here, i needed a screen replaced onb my samsung smartphone, brought it to these guys,bad mistake, the first time i got it back , there was a dead spot right in the middle of the screen, i returned it , no problemsw, i received it back the second time, he showed it to me before gluing it back, was fine, then glued it and wrapped it with rubber bands, following day , i removed the bands, only to find another dead spot at bottom of screen ,not visible when rubber bands were onver screen, i returned it , this time i was accused of damaging the screen, i lost my cool , and demanded my money back and the original screen back, tov which he ripped screen off and tossed my phone down on the counter without a screen, he then proceeded to pull another screen out the trash and tossed it down. it wasnot my original screen which i found out after paying another installer R200 to put the old screen back in. now im R200 out of pocket and no working phone. he was rude and very aggressive. rather take ur phone to a registered store, the few rands you hope to save is not gonna happen , you will end up paying more

So this store advertises ridiculous pricing on goods but truthfully the quality is bad, my so called fast charging cable that I purchased for R90 broke within the first week. The isles are narrow and the place is stuffy. But there are a few good deals if you can find you size like the soccer shin guards and keeper gloves I found.

Always find what I need. Excellent service. Quality goods. Friendly staff

I certainly got value for my money shopping at Half Price Depot. Even comparing their prices with other stores. Still couldn't find cheaper anywhere else.

They have everything one might need for electronics, and do it yourself items Including make up and goodies for the ladies.

Random selection of cheap electronic goods. Found a replacement charger for our wifi mini UPS at a very reasonable price.

Ive been shopping here for some years. They are great with fixing cellphones, etc,friendly,polite and extremely helpful . Half Price Depot in Plumstead has a wide variety of goods at very good prices.

The owner has superb marketing skills by handing out amazing quality pamphlets at the traffic lights. But when you get to the store it's a whole new game. The store is tiny and dreary and most of the items for sale are of very low quality. Beware of the food stuff that they sell at 3 for R50 as these are way out of date by a whole year and a half. I'm not even sure how he gets away with this. Definitely not worth the visit but hey, if you looking for weird low quality stuff at a "cheap" price, then hop on here.

Went to buy a TV remote control.. very reasonably priced compared to other resellers. Also bought 1kg of honey for a good price.

Cheap and products that last longer than its price tag...get your gadgets at good prices
