Hildenbrand Estate Wines

I have read the reviews and a common theme is make a booking if you wish a wine tasting. Several years ago I went there and truly loved their wines. Specifically their Semillion and their Rosie. I have tried now to return 3 times, yesterday being the last, and have been turned away in a short sharp manner. So now give up... Perhaps their website should highlight how to do a wine tasting because all 3 times I checked online before I drove the 60kms to ho their and all three times they were shown on the website as being open. It's a pity because Hilenbrand is a hidden gem, almost forgotten in time but very much one walks away feeling very unwelcomed.

Best wine ever!! Good entertainment and a perfect place for animal lovers. Cannot follow the last comment, because visitors appeared during harvesting time without making an appointment.

Does not even deserve one star. Totally unwelcoming by the owner and was immediately turned away because we didn't make an appointment. It was completely run down and just a disappointing experience in general because we drove so far to get there.

What a delightful place. Lots of beautiful rescued animals. Reni was so informative about olive oil. Well worth visiting.
