Shoprite/Checkers Head office

Never in my entire life have been treated with such disrespect from the staff at Shoprite Ardeley, firstly I went to book my flight and made payment by tapping my phone next minute the lady Nosicelo Ntsomi gives her one of the other cashier s my tickets and they talk amongst themselves and not telling me what’s happening, so already I can see something is wrong I go to them where they all talking amongst themselves and find out if there s a problem then the one lady says yesyour card does not match your details and your ID and I’m like in what way then she goes on until she calls the manager who was very helpful and sorted my issue out but these other stupid ladies continued to talk amongst themselves as if now I’m a criminal they were acting as if I stole something, my issue is if the staff is not familiar with payment options they need to find out and not treat us like we mad, they should ask how the system works and not try and treat us like we done something. And by the way my details were matching. Transaction went through and I was made to open my app and show them because they did not believe it went through ‍. The other rude cashier was very quick to say we don’t do refunds please can your train the staff coz that behaviour was unacceptable.will not be using that Shoprite ever again urls staff is very rude and unprofessional!!

I've been asking for a transfer to another Shop since my family relocated but until this day no one helped me i even wrote letters but not feedback,i dont know what to do , managers ain't helping always busy when i ask for assistance, What should i do

Wow that place is huge and it is so well setup. The staff were friendly and helped me find the correct building. I had to stop and look at the way they have done the paths and the gardens it's like nature worked around the buildings and they have a stream running though alot of the property. It's like a dream work space. I think I saw a little restaurant/coffee shop inside the premises. I hope I get to go deliver there again.

I have had REPEATED experiences of RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL AND OFFENSIVE BEHAVIOUR from Shoprite staff at several Shoprite stores in the Helderberg area. Enough is enough. I am AVOIDING any Shoprite store from now on.

Love the setup! especially the coffee shop area! the fish area is my fav! for many years my colleagues and i have been shopping there religiously mainly because of the non-oily fresh fish. However that cannot be said anymore due to the oil you guys put on the fish...GUYS STOP IT !!! Checkers Centurion. i saw another customer returning back from the que in regards to this complain. STOP IT PERIOD we don"t go there anymore no ques on the fish area too.

Sanlam Centre Checkers Empangeni must be the worst Checkers I have ever shopped at. The staff are so unfriendly almost to the point of arrogance. This is not the first time I have complained about the staff but have had experiences of this kind on many occasions. Being friendly and polite to your customers should be a norm or do we have to pay extra for that service. I phoned the store and complained but I know nothing will be done. Stores forget that a lot of their shoppers are people who receive a government grant of some kind and if prices are readily displayed people like this cannot just buy randomly. We should not have to run to the till to price an unpriced item. Another thing many elderly people live alone never see or meet people from one day to the next. When they do go do their shopping surely a welcome smile and a happy face would cheer them up but instead all we see is scowls and treated like with disrespect. I do not even treat my dog that way. I see old folks walk away saddened. Come on checkers sure you can do better remember if your workers are unhappy then they must look for another job. Treat you customers with decency and respect and a little cheer because without the customers the staff would be unemployed. I hope this complaint reaches the highest management in Checkers. Just a reminder Edgars in Empangeni has the same attitude look what has happened to them now....staff unemployed.

I requested change for R1000 from the Cashier after purchasing goods to the amount of just over R500 today, Saturday, 18 July at 11h00. To my amazement they could not honour the service that is advertized. But this was nit the first time that this has happened to me at Checkers Lifestyle Centre in Tzaneen. It is hard ti believe that they did not have R500 cash in the store. Your staff are killing the business with rheir attitude i complained to the floor manager Martha who also was very teluctant to assist

Unfriendly rude and unpleasant cashiers make shopping at Checkers Hermanus store a bore. One is never greeted or if a greeting is ventured then it is perfunctory. This is surely a management issue who should motivate and train their staff in these difficult times - especially for Shoprite Checkers, to treat customers with politeness.
