I’m yet to do a review, been here a couple of times but the one that stood out was the Christmas Lunch we had here. Very Special and festive. Menu was wonderful and we had a great time here. The buffet wasn’t high end, it was a laidback country / farm style, It was GOOD VALUE for money and hearty food.
A hidden gem - incredible location. Pet friendly. Playground for kids and perfect for a picnic. Wine tasting offers 6 wines for R50. Will go again for a hike next weekend.
Wow. Wow. Wow. Cannot reccomend this place enough. We had a picnic and the quality of food was amazing. The view is stunning, wine was delicious and the staff were the most incredible. They were so welcoming and friendly and super helpful. Thank you for making our day so incredibly special with your hospitality.
Our wine tasting went absolutely amazing. My family and I were celebrating a 21st, Sjediel was our wine tasting specialist and she was absolutely extraordinary! We felt so comfortable and welcome. She had excellent product knowledge and was super welcoming and friendly, and very question we asked she could answer and we would 100% go back!!
The wine tasting was a let down. Was a cold, wet day and we weren't helped to seat and weren't given guidance. No water or crackers between tastings and no spittoon. Lunch same lack of service. Table not wiped, and long wait for service. Food good although knives not changed after bread and butter, no steak knife for steak and no sharp knife for pizza.
Incredibly beautiful place! Quite literally breath-taking scene as you pass through the entrance. We had stopped for a quick bite somewhere en-route to Cape Town and ended up doing a wine tasting and staying for ages. The estate is pet-friendly! Always an issue for us as we generally take our dog everywhere. He was welcomed with open arms and loved it. There is a huge lawn to enjoy with lots of different spots to sit. Leave e there with a book and a glass of wine anytime! Jeremiah took us through a lovely wine tasting and we had the most delicious chorizo and calamari starter as well as a scrumptious pizza. I can't recommend this Wine Estate highly enough. Currently no accommodation but they are looking to construct cottages in the future. It does cater to events though.
We had the most amazing experience at the restaurant! It was my bf's birthday and we went on a cold and quiet Monday afternoon. We had the charcuterie platter and it was amazing! Our waiter was also awesome and attentive, and even brought my bf a beautiful dessert for his birthday!! Thank you Unathi for your excellent service. We will definitely be back! :
Treated my 13yr old son & I to a massagediff place & afterwards a picnic @Rhebokskloof. It was Amazing! Loved the picnic; Loved the view; Service was busy, cos weather was great, but our waiter coped very well :-! Will definitely be back!
Beautiful setting, can have picnics! We were seated and the worker who seated us advised us that our waiter will be with us shortly. After waiting 10 minutes no one came. There was a table of 6 next to us who were being served wine tasting, the waiter probably could’ve noticed that we were not being served. I know it’s most probably not his table but he left us waiting. After another 5 minutes I had to walk up to find someone. We ordered 2 pizzas and they were delicious.
We combined a wine tasting with cheese and bread platters and it all was excellent. Their 2015 Shiraz and 2018 bush vine Chenin Blanc were exceptional. Friendly hosts, beautiful grounds. Good value. Recommended.
