House of Waffles

We came to graskop to look at the local attractions and decided to take a quick stop here and it was worth it. The absolute best waffles we’ve had in a long time with amazing and friendly service and milkshakes to die for. There were great options for a sweet and savoury meal with drinks that are harder to find in South Afrika like cherry coke and Dr. Pepper. The owners dog also decided to make a visit and she is probably the sweetest part of this whole place. We had a great experience and recommend anyone to take a look as well.

Wow! Okay so this is a perfect example of a "hidden gem". The waffles I had the red velvet waffle are amazing to say the least! This is for sure the best waffle I have ever eaten! If you are in the area this is a MUST, well worth the effort if you need to travel for this yumminess. Tino is very passionate and professional about his business, well done Tino!

Review in a single word...WOW! This little gem of a place is amazing, this cozy little shop is filled with antiques and is a must-stop if you're in the Graskop area especially if you have a sweet tooth. Would highly recommend and revisit it any time.

Visited in December 2022. When I place my order and less than 10 minutes later Tino walks out of the kitchen with a plate full of waffles and I realize he is walking towards me, I have to contain my excitement. The presentation is so good! And then I dig in and realize why this establishment is rated so high. These waffles are hard to beat. Best thing is that they have no issues serving customers during loadshedding.

We had planned to visit another rather famous establishment in the area. But after reading some less than favorable reviews we decided to give it a miss. We then discovered this little gem, what a fantastic find. The staff are friendly and the waffles, both savory and sweet were absolutely delicious. We will most definitely be back the next time we are in the area. Highly recommended.

As a Belgian, I take my waffles seriously. Not only did Waffle Hut serve up some of the best waffles I've ever tasted, but the friendly staff made the experience even sweeter. Crispy, fluffy, and topped to perfection. Don't miss out on this waffle wonderland!
