Had a wonderful experience with a gentle consultant, Ollie. Will definitely return.
They deserve absolutely no stars at all, the worst place I have ever been to. I have wasted R600 , a very unprofessional place, we weren't even greeted ,they started late ,it was the worst gift considering it was my husband's birthday. They were busy having their own conversation. There were times during the 2hours of treatments that my husband and I were left alone and not told of the process of the next treatment, the so called therapist that saw to my husbands feet literally rushed through the whole process ,there was nothing at all Swedish about their massage and they lacked technique. The facials included extractions which they completely forgot to do. I do not at all recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely disappointed.
Yesterday was my first treatment done at in perfect harmony and I was very pleased...I have had this redness on my face for quiet some time and it has made me quiet conscious as I don't really use make up often to cover it up. Decided to do the dermaplanning for the first time and I have to admit I was quiet skeptical. Usually you will need to make an appointment a few days in advance however at the last minute I sent a message on their whats app number and a spot was available in less than 2 hours which was great and they were able to accommodate me. Friendly staff and I didn't have to wait long either. Within half an hour my treatment was completed. Full covid protocols were taken which was excellent as the beautician used a pair of gloves the entire time..surprisingly no reaction as I have very sensitive skin and my cheeks are not so red like they usually are. My colleagues instantly noticed how much brighter my skin looked as I went back to the office and I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family. They have such a wide variety of treatments available which I definitely want to try out in the months to come. Really looking forward to it!
I have just had the worst experience at this so called "salon" called In Perfect Harmony. I normally have my facials done at dischem cornubia beauty clinic. Due to them not having availability, I made a booking at this place after reading good reviews about them. I have had facials at de Mala, sorbet, umhlanga hotels and many others so I know very well what facials are about. Over the phone the lady told me about the 45min glow facial that's on special for R150 so I booked it. Upon arrival, the receptionist told me that facial is 30min then I enquired of their other facials 1 in particular the derma... Glow facial. This was with removal of facial hair and is a 45min facial. The indian receptionist is a good sales lady reassuring me they use only specialized equipment to remove the facial hair which will never grow back out of the ordinary. So I decided to go for it. There is no ambience for commencing facials. The room was bright and door wide open. A facial is supposed to be relaxing but my experience is anything but that. No linen saver or towels used to cover me. This petite young black lady washed my face like she was molding something into shape. She then puts the steamer directly facing me even though I told her I'm claustrophobic. That too I managed while she started scraping my nose telling me it's extractions. Then she started using an object which I didn't know what it was to remove the hair from my face. 10 seconds into it I told her my right side face is burning and felt like I was bruised, her words to me' I have never bruised or hurt anyone before and I'm doing this for a long time' then she asked if she must stop the removal, obviously not, I can't go with hair on removed from the right side and hair on the left side of my face. Then she said my skin is sensitive and that's why I'm feeling this burning. Thereafter she wiped my face and applied some cream and told me it might burn with the cream and then she was done. No mask applied because she said it's the derma facial. This entire facial was 10-15min max. When I enquired about the time frame which she was present while the receptionist was telling me about the facial, she said no it's a very quick facial. Immediately after I asked her to show me the equipment used to remove my hair and she showed me a surgical blade which is used in the hospital. I know those blades because I'm a professional nurse. Then I looked in the mirror and that's when I saw the cut on my right side face below my eye. I pointed it out to her and she just kept quiet and left the room. She never apologized. The receptionist never asked about my experience well I'm sure she knows exactly. I made my R300 payment and now I'm informing you all to please pay your extra money and go to reputable places. I'm sitting here with Crystal like substance all over my ears, neck and hair thinking what on earth did I go to. This place is a rip off and they definitely not professional in ever area of their business. I also have pictures of my face. I am wondering if those people who put good reviews on Google for them are in fact their family or friends. Nevertheless please I would not want anyone to have this kind of experience.
The daddy's deal with IPH was great for the price and the experience. I had a two hour session which included a Swedish full body massage, a facial, head massage and foot cleanse. Lindi did my treatment and she was wonderful, checking that she was applying a comfortable amount of pressure during the massage and also being gentle during the facial. I have alway requested her when I go there. The facial is very rejuvenating for the skin, it gave me a glow all day.
I have been to this place before and the service was excellent 100%. Thought I would receive the same pampering experience second time round, and was terribly disappointed. The linen was filthy and had a musky smell. Took a lot to get the masseuse to smile. I couldnt enjoy the massage because the aircon was on high, and I thought I would freeze to death. Overall it was an unpleasant experience and I wouldnt go back there. They most certainly have dropped their standards!
As I sit here in the salon on Wednesday 11 September at 1.05pm. Ignored by the staff all gone behind closed doors. I had to fone to get their attention. Was given a look and she disappeared again. Still no one has approached me to apologize for not seeing to me as yet. My appointment was set for 1pm. I came in 10 mins earlier.
After specifically requesting an experienced waxer after my last bad experience, I got pawned off to two inexperienced girls. I walked out 2 hours of torture later with purple blotches, wax caked in the hair that's left, angry rashes, and half crazy with pain. A simple wax turned out to be a nightmare. I'll never go back there.
Hello I had the most horrible experience at In Perfect Harmoney a 2 hour session was only approx 1.15.... waited for approx 45 min. treatment not up to standard never recommend or go back .... thank you Navi
Service is usually friendly & the prices are very affordable. The therapists are kind & hardworking. Package deals are definitely worth it
